2.Can someone using a Mask of time interfere with a use of Kanohi Mohtrek ? 3.I do not fully understand what would happen to a Mohtrek user, if one of hs former selves would be destroyed Cold you please explain it to me ?
1) Yes, and because I think infecting masks at that level of power would unbalance the story 2) You can use the Mask of Time to slow down or speed up time around the user of the Mohtrek, making it, for example, take a lot longer to use that mask. But I don't see how you would affect the mask power beyond that. 3) Pretty simple, really. Let's say Teridax is wearing the Mohtrek in 2003 story. He is about to fight Takanuva, so he uses the mask to summon Teridax from 2001 story to help him.
During the battle, 2001 Teridax dies. Since his future self cannot exist if his past self has been killed, 2003 Teridax vanishes and an alternate timeline is automatically created where Teridax did not exist in 2002 or 2003 story.
It's basically the same as the old time travel conundrum, what if you went back to the past and accidentally killed your own grandfather before your father was born? Well, you would cease to exist ... and a new timeline would be created where neither you nor your father were ever born. Thanks a lot for your answers It looks like it's quite dangerous and risky to use Mohtrek... |
goldeaglefire | 2014-02-18 15:48 UTC–5 PermalinkHey Greg! (It's around TIME I posted here.) I am here to ask a quick question for a few of the users in the BIONICLE sub-fourm.
Recently, a user pointed out this: In the Spherus Magna alternate universe, Mata Nui actually gave the GSR to Teridax, and then went into a third robot, as the GBs had planned. Another thing that's intresting is the possibility (Can't really say fact because it hasn't been confirmed.) that Tren Krom actually told Mutran that Teridax would eventually replace Mata Nui. If this is correct, then it's very likely Mutran told Teridax, meaning HE knew he was supposed to replace Mata Nui, but instead of waiting, he decided to get it early.
So, I just want to ask this:
DID Tren Krom tell Mutran that Teridax would eventually replace Mata Nui? |
legomisstress1… | 2014-02-18 19:02 UTC–5 Permalink1. do you think it is possible for makuta to make a kaita if they trusted each other enough? 2. dose miserix know where arthaka is? because i understand that the OOMN eliminated everyone who knew minus helryx 4. why dose krekka(toy)'s arms look nothing like the movie? 5. do you make bionicle mocs? 6. will they show the hero factory episodes yet again? 7. is there any current relationship(other than being toa's) between hahli and jaller? as in mask of light there clearly is something there 8. since teridax's destiny was to take over the GSR while mata nui was to use another one shouldn't teridax have just waited a bit longer because in like less than a month he would become the new great spirit he could've gotten more praise than mata nui why did he not wait a teny tiny bit longer?] 9. how did jay go to the alternate universe where the serpenetine ruled? |

What would your theory by as to why Tren Krom would tell Mutran this? |
ScribeGT6817 | 2014-02-19 08:33 UTC–5 Permalink
1) Yes. The Makuta from the alt. universe where they were all good probably could form a kaita. 2) Why would Miserix know?
3) Serving out of fear is nothing new -- it is a lot more common in human history than serving out of loyalty
4) The demands of movie animation meant that changes often got made from toy design.
5) No, I don't have any talent for MOCing.
6) No idea.
7) They are friends. There are no romantic relationships in the Matoran universe.
8) Because even under those circumstances, he would have been answering to Mata Nui and he would not be ruling. He wanted to rule.
9) The storm opened a rift between realities. |

Well, it's not nessecarily MY theory...Here's the link to the topic I was refering to. community.LEGO.com/t5/BIONICLE/The-Great-Bionicle- |
teridaxrules | 2014-02-19 17:01 UTC–5 PermalinkFirst I want to say this. Hey, Greg! Thank you so much for spending your time and effort to answer the questions of all us fans of BIONICLE. Also, I think that you are an amazing writer in the fact that you wrote almost every BIONICLE book ever made! You didn't write the first three. (Those were bad).
Now I have some questions. 1) Is Spherus magna in the Hero Factory universe? 2) Are there any elements we don't know about? 3) Is there a team name for lesovikk's team other than the First Toa? 4) How was the Mask of Creation created? (forgive the irony) 5) What would happen if a Kraata infeted a Matoran mask after Teridax died, considering there are no active evil Makuta anymore? 6) Can Agori and Glatorian use Kanohi? 7) How did Velika obtain Lesovikk's dagger? 8) What happened to the Toa Mahri? 9) Where is TSO? 10) What is The Golden Skinned being's real name? 11) Who created the Glatorian and Agori? 12) Was Mata Nui a sapient being or a computer program? 13) How do Kanohi tell the difference between Matoran and Toa? 14) Why do the Kestora do what they do? 15) Were people aware of the Red Star when it worked? 16) Can MU inhabitants on Spherus Magna be revived? 17) If the Ignika's countdown really did reach zero, would everyone be in the Red Star or would it be like disintegration? 18) Same thing as 17 but with Marendar Thanks! |

2) That was so long ago, I really don't remember it well 4) Yes. 5) I have judged a lot of contests and picked a lot of Cool Creations, but beyond that, not really. 7) The stuff that went on in the Mata Nui Online game was all stuff that was done by the web producer and not something the story team was involved with. As for the movie, that part of it was just silly and I ignore it. |

1) No 2) I have no plans to introduce more elements, we have enough already 3) Not that I am aware of 4) Not a story we have told 5) It would probably still be corrupting, but there would be no direct influence from a Makuta 6) No 7) Stole it, most likely 8) Nothing has happened to them. The story is in stasis at this point 9) I would assume on Spherus Magna someplace 10) He doesn't have one. I don't have a list of approved names to use for characters anymore, since the line is dead. 11) Unknown. But keep in mind the Glatorian and Agori are not artificial beings like the Matoran are. 12) Mata Nui was a robot with AI. 13) They don't have to. Matoran cannot use Great Masks because they lack the willpower to do so. 14) Because it is what they were created to do 15) No 16) The red star was calibrated to take beings from the MU and return them there, and the MU no longer exists. 17) Well, if everyone in the MU died, Mata Nui would shut down and it would be impossible to live there. My guess is if the MU shut down completely, the red star would no longer be picking anyone up from there as the link between the two would shut down as well. 18) I don't understand your question? |

Good question. Was Po-Wahi actually within the wall of Mata Nui, or was it part of the artificial "disguise" the robot had? If the latter, it would have to be eliminated. |

No, there are no obvious physical differences. |
