Kluuucha | 2014-02-20 18:55 UTC–5 PermalinkHello, Mr. Greg... I have a few questions to you (Daaa...). I'm sorry, if any of them will be repeated, but I just cant read all the 270 pages, I have a life 1. What kind of relation was between Kiina and Mata Nui? It looks like for MN she was just good friend, but what about her? 2. What kind of body MN has on Bara Magna? Was that Glatorian- or Toa-like? 3. What's happened with Matoro's mind after his sacrefice? Was it anihilated, absorbet by Mata Nui's or hidden in Ignika?
And something out of story: 4. Does LEGO still own rights for BIONICLE? How long they'll have it, if yes? 5. If somewhere in dark places of Internets ( ) somone will make huge, potentially profitable BIONICLE-based project, how LEGO can react on it? Thanks for answer and greetings from Poland |

1) Since romantic relationships are possible on Spherus Magna, I always saw Kiina as being attracted to Mata Nui. 2) Toa-like. It was created by the Mask of Life, which doesn't know from Glatorian.
3) It's gone. All of Matoro was turned into energy, including his consciousness.
4) Yes, it does. I believe under copyright laws you keep the rights for 75 or 100 years or something like that, and then you can renew if need be.
5) If by "profitable" you mean the person who makes the project is earning money from it, LEGO would probably send a cease and desist letter. You can't make money off of something someone else owns the rights to unless you make a licensing deal. |
Tomasko579 | 2014-02-22 10:11 UTC–5 Permalink1. What happened to remaining membes of iron tribe after reformation of Spherus Magna ? Did they become the part of new society ? 2. Are the forms of Metru Nui Matoran after rebuilding equally strong and tall as their original forms ? 3. The Bohrok were designed to clean the face of Mata Nui. But when he awoke, he still had to break trough the barren island. Shouldn't Bohrok clean that as well ?

herbapenguin | 2014-02-22 10:32 UTC–5 PermalinkHey Greg, are you going to make more Bionicle story serials? After "The Powers That Be" you haven't made any new ones. |

Could hordika venom be removed by anything other than Keetongu? Like a Kanoka of poison removal, for instance?

But if the 2003 Teridax had vanished... How would he be able to summon the 2001 Teridax?

1) One would hope. 2) Not sure I understand your question 3) No, their job was not expose the face. Since Mata Nui was traveling from world to world and observing, having the face visible for any length of time before he actually rocketed off increased the risk of discovery and possibly invasion by native life forms |

Well, it could possibly destroy the minds of anyone in a given area. |

The short answer is no, but let me give you a longer answer:
When the plans to end BIONICLE were made known internally in Sept. of 2009, I asked about the possibility of continuing the story after the line ended on BStory. LEGO said okay, but it was obviously not going to be a priority because we would no longer be selling sets. I was not asked to do this by the company, I asked to do it as a favor to the fans.
In the next year, a lot of things changed, the biggest being that I became a father. Having a baby (and now a toddler) to take care of wiped out a lot of my free time. The time I had really needed to be devoted to things related to active LEGO lines, because set sales are what keep the company going.
As things stand now, it is has been four years since the line ended. BIONICLEstory.com is long gone, so there is no official place to post story, and no real push from the company for me to keep doing it ... especially if it would mean I was spending less time on Ninjago and the other things I have to do for work. A lot of people have asked about this, and on some sites, they have been frankly abusive about it -- but it was simply a case of good intentions meeting reality.

Ah, see, that is where you are getting into alternate timelines, Botven. It's like this: Timeline A has 2003 Makuta use the Mohtrek to summon 2001 Makuta. 2001 Makuta dies in 2003, eliminating 2003 Makuta.
At that point, Timeline B is created where Makuta died in 2001 and none of the events he was involved in from then on in Timeline A ever happened.
Again, it goes back to the example I cited before. You go back in time and accidentally cause the death of your grandfather. You HAD to exist to go back in time and cause that to happen, but you CAN'T exist because he never brought your father into being. You have created a paradox, and the resolution of it is the creation of a new timeline in which you never existed. |

They have a metallic framework that serves the same purpose. They do not have organic bones. |

2) Well, after Bohrok-kal story arc, Turaga have rebuilt all of Matoran into stronger, taller forms, because they were diminished from Matoran spheres... |
