1) It depends on the book and whether it needs to reflect main story or it can be a side story.
2) If Ninjago gets cancelled, the odds are the publisher would cancel the book line as well. Books exists to help raise awareness and thus set sales, if there are no sets to sell, no point in doing books.
3) What kind of tips do you need?

Where do you get inspirations from?
With my stories, especially longer stories, I usually just try to think up a first scene. Once I get that going, I get to know the characters and they take the story where they want to take it. In a sense they are telling the story and I am just writing it down.

Sorry to bother you again, but yesterday I decided to relive a huge part of my childhood and marathon the Bionicle movies. While I was watching The Legend Reborn, a question sprung into my mind. Should the Ignika given Gresh the power of plant life over air? Considering the Jungle tribe is affliated with plant life, not like the Le-Matoran in the Matoran Universe are affliated with air?
One question only:

and why on Metru Nui did Hero Factory have to use some BIONICLE storylines??????????????????????(example: Brain Attack: Bohrok and Krana) No matter. I collect only BIONICLE sets.

Greg Farshtey has already confirmed that Mata Nui gave Gresh plantlife powers because he related green with air. As the beings related with air in his own universe (his formal self) were all green.
