I loved writing in this universe, so probably. There are obstacles, though, besides what I just mentioned -- there's no budget to get approvals done, there's no budget to get names legally cleared (which means no new characters in story), and (probably the easiest solved problem), there's no place online for the stories to live unless we put them on a fan site.

Greg, what was you favorite Gen 2 set. Also, if you personally could have seen any old characters from Gen 1 to return to Gen 2 (if it hadn't canceled), who would they be?

1) I didn't have a favorite

2) Don't know. Most of my favorite G1 characters were ones we didn't meet until after the Toa went back to Metru Nui and we were in the MU. To my knowledge, there were no plans to introduce a setting like that in G2, I think the whole thing was going to be on Okoto. So I am not sure any of those characters would have "fit" into G2 story.

What I was asking was if you could add any characters, even if they wouldn't fit in. I'm asking for your personal opinion. Wink

I know this would probably cause legal problems, but would it be at all plausible for the fans raise to a little money to pay someone to approve what you write?

Hello Mr. Farshety and wondering what is the best LEGO Ninjago book you ever wrote? Also was it easy or hard to become LEGO's number 1 author? Thank you!Happy

3.  The Great Being Cursed is the most powerful character of Bionicle? Because, He has affected Vezon with its powers even if he was in another dimension. And correct me if I'm wrong, but even Mata Nui can not affect beings through the dimensions with his power. Even Tren Krom and Artakha can not do that. Maybe Annona or the Ignika... Also, the scope of the GBC's powers is multiversal? universal maybe?

4.  The golden mask that Tahu currently owns (G1) Is it the same as in 2001-2002? Or it's a mask as the others but in gold?

Thank you!

LEGO is never going to allow the continuation of the G1 story. They are trying to market a reboot, and it simply makes no sense to allow the continuation of a story that they're no longer making sets for.

I don't know about that. Hasbro allowed Transformers G1 to continue some years ago in comic form, and it really caught on, and is one of the most popular and sucessful of their businesses now. And it's still going on. I know LEGO is a toy company and selling toys is a priority for them, but Hasbro is also a toy company, and selling toys is also a priority for them. LEGO and Hasbro are probably very different, but if they can do it, maybe LEGO would do the same for us in the future. Though for Hasbro it took, what, like 20-something years? Joking Hmmm, and BIONICLE is actually going to be that old in just a couple years now Surprised Wow, I feel just a bit old lol.

Hello Greg, Ankas here again with another question, this time about a minor canonization suggestion. I was wondering if it would be safe for you to canonize Kra-Matoran as the official Matoran term for Shadow Matoran? Would you like to give your approval for that to happen, or do you see it as too unnecessary? Have a glorious day Smile

About the question of Kra-Matoran being the canon Matoran term for the Shadow Matoran, I just saw on BS01's page on Shadow Matoran that "The Shadow Matoran do not see themselves as a tribe, and as such do not use a prefix in their moniker." However, I was just under the impression that the terms like Ta-Matoran, Ga-Matoran etc. were a purely linguistical thing, and that it was just their way of literally saying "Matoran (of) (insert element)" or "(elemental prefix designation suffix)-Matoran", and didn't actually have anything to do with being a tribe. Which would make more sense in my opinion, since Matoran of specific elements have been shown to form different groups that are not necessarily affiliated with one another. I guess what I mean by this is that I don't think it makes sense to say the each type of Matoran is one single tribe.

But Greg, what do you think about the prefix+Matoran thing simply being a festure of the Matoran language. Similarly Toa of Fire would be Ta-Toa in the language, Toa of Light would be Av-Toa etc.

In fact this same concept has been adopted by someone who'd creating an extensive usable Matoran language. Dude's got a PhD in linguistics now I believe. It's s really amazing fan project, that many people are part of, including myself.

Sorry about not quoting the above comment by the way. It won't let you do that on phone. I think the webmasters should fix that. I might email LEGO about that tomorrow.

I can't see how that would work, since this is money that would have to be going to a LEGO employee. I doubt the company would be okay with this.

I have a good friend who is an expert on Transformers, and according to him, there was no point when there was a comic and no toys coming out. When the toy line was not being produced, the comics ended.

I can't see why Shadow Matoran would have a tribe name, as they don't exist as a tribe. They are a short-lived group of allies of the Makuta, but it's not like they have their own village, or Turaga, or any of the other trappings of an actual tribe. They are more like a small number of mutants.

15. What is the Niazesk combiner supposed to represent; a normal or mutated Niazesk?

16. How large is a Niazesk?

17. How large is a mutated Niazesk?

Well, the way I see it (correct me if I'm wrong), most Matoran are labelled as being Ta, or Le, etc. but it doesn't usually directly indicate they're part of a tribe, it simply indicates their element.

So, short lived and of little importance as they may be, can we approve the term "kra-Matoran" for official use, without necesarily declaring the kra-Matoran as a tribe?

That is not true. The comic series "The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye" that's going on at the moment (and is about to end, but it will be continued in a new series) are continueing the G1 storyline right now. They are written by James Roberts and published by IDW. They are insanely popular among Transfans. Maybe your friend haven't heard of this series?

Please read my other comment above where I elaborate on how I always saw the prefix thing as a more linguistical item than a way to divide people into tribes. If you have the time to read it. It's a bit long.

Hi Greg, I've always wondered about this:

When the Piraka took over Voya Nui, did the Antidermis actually enslave the Matoran to the Piraka, or were they under the control of Teridax, and he simply let the Piraka believe they were in control?

Thank you!
