DuplexBeGreat | 2016-05-15 04:47 UTC–5 PermalinkHey Greg, question about Tahnok-Kal. It was defeated when the Toa Nuva overloaded it with power, causing it to be trapped in a cage of its own electricity. In particular, Onua states in Book #3, Makuta's Revenge, that "I expect that one will stay there until it finally runs out of energy entirely."
I had always assumed that it would not take long--- certainly not more than a couple weeks--- for Tahnok-Kal to run out of energy, to the point that it would just be a shell (albeit an intact shell, which is more than can be said for any of the other Bohrok-Kal) sitting alone in that chamber underneath the island of Mata Nui. It didn't occur to me until recently that I could be totally wrong, and that it would take a VERY long time for Tahnok-Kal to run out of energy. I know you didn't write Makuta's Revenge, so that line from Onua might not even be "canon" anymore--- but still. At your best estimate, at the point where the story is frozen, did it still have energy left to power its own cage, or had it run out by that point? Thanks. |
777stairs | 2016-05-15 17:06 UTC–5 Permalink1. Can all individuals of Krekka's species fly, or is that something limited to Krekka? 2. Can individuals of The Shadowed One's species wear and use Kanohi? 3. Can individuals of Johmak's species wear and use Kanohi? 4. One of the extremeties on TSO is a tail and not a third leg, right? (This seems to be the popular thought; I just wanted to make sure.) 5. If you were offered by LEGO to write a story wrapping up the loose ends of Hero Factory, would you do it? What about a story explaining Evo's personality inconsistancies?
For 2 and 3, I only ask because you have answered these questions for a few other species, so it seems like the sort of thing you're allowed answer. Thank-you for your time. |
Objectivistuba | 2016-05-15 19:02 UTC–5 PermalinkHello Mr. Farshtey.
1. What were the implications of marriage between Sidorak and Roodaka, would it have occured, and what was the last documented location of Roodaka? Is she still imprisoned?
2. Are there distinct scales for the figures? For example, 2001-2003, 2004-2005, and 2005-2008 all had distinctly different sized Toa. Toa Tahu from 2003 is mich shorter than his 2008 incarnation, so is this a story feature, or just a scale inconsistency?
3. How would you briefly sum up Makuta Icarax's personality?
Thank you! |

Here are some questions for you?
1. What is your favourite LEGO set? 2. What is your favourite LEGO theme? 3. What is your favourite LEGO movie or film?

I'm guessing you're talking about Verrack333's signature...
Anyway, Greg, I have another question on top of my other list
6. Was Sentrakh originally a member of Gladiator's species? |

Roblotix27 | 2016-05-17 14:35 UTC–5 PermalinkHello Greg Farshtey, will the Ninjago: Dark Island Trilogy be a canon? |
TeShadowedOne1 | 2016-05-17 20:48 UTC–5 PermalinkHello Mr. Farshtey. It's an honor to see you still involved after all these years. I have a few questions regarding the Zyglak.
Thank you. |
HelixBenjacrix | 2016-05-17 21:57 UTC–5 PermalinkI just have a solitary question.
1. Could you shed some light on the Marendar? Such as what color it was, what weapon(s) it uesd, whether it was bipedal or quadropedal, general things like that. |
ScribeGT6817 | 2016-05-18 10:15 UTC–5 Permalink
Yes, it is official. The LEGO NINJAGO team in Denmark had a lot to do with crafting the plot and approved all the scripts and art, etc. |

1) I reallly didn't map out a social structure for the Zyglak, since they were not going to be a story focus. I would assume they must have some kind of alphas because otherwise it wouild just be anarchy. 2) I don't know that it's totally one or the other. Like tends to stay with like in nature, and certainly there is something to be said for strength in numbers. So I think there are elements of both present. 3) They were all created at once 4) No idea 5) Dozens, at least |
