Three questions here:

1. Could there be a few "supremacists" for each tribe of Matoran? Ex. an Onu-Matoran who preaches against Ta-, Ga-, and Ko-Matoran. And could those supremacists have been responsible for the Matoran Civil War?

2. I know that Krahka cannot copy Kanohi powers. Does that change/is that different, however, when a person has a Kanohi fused to their face and can access its power, as was the case when Karzahni was mutated by Pit Mutagen?

3. Who do you think Papu and Rangi (mentioned in the MNOLG) were supposed to be? Nokama in an early version of the MNOLG speaks of how they plan the fates ("I think Papu and Rangi have plans for you that are greater than your [Takua's] stature would suggest") and Jaller (then named Jala) in the German version says they chose Ta-Koro to be the village of fire.

1) I don't think so, no. Especially in the current global climate, I don't think LEGO Company would endorse a storyline that essentially amounted to a BIONICLE version of race hatred.

2) Good question. I would have to think about it.

3) No idea. MNOLG was designed before I worked for LEGO and I had nothing to do with it, so I do not know what the designers had in mind for it.

I have a question:

Since the Bionicle took place on a named planet that isn't Earth, and Ninjago also took place on its own planet, not to mention based on box art we can assume that the new Bionicle is on its own planet is it possible that they are in the same cosmos, and therefore we can have crossovers?

There are no plans for anything like that. Although we do occasionally do multi-theme content with playthemes, we never do it with playtheme and buildable action figures because of scale issues, and in general all of these are seen as existing in their own universes, not a shared one.

Hi, Mr. Farshtey!

It's been a while since I asked you my questions, and I've come up with a bunch more.  I'm working on a fan-version of the unresolved BIONICLE plot points, so I wanted to see if you could perhaps clarify some things for me:

  1. Were any of the major species besides Matoran (i.e. Vortixx, Skakdi, etc.) able to be created via machines, or were their numbers set to a predetermined amount by the Great Beings?
  2. Will Alternate Teridax attempt to be a part of the new society, or will he try to find his way back to his universe? Will the Matoran/Agori trust him?
  3. If the Shadow Takanuva are found, would they align themselves with their rescuer? Would Miserix be interested in recruiting them, if he knows of them or stumbles upon them?
  4. What are the Skakdi Fusion’s plans? Does he simply want to be left alone, or could he make a grab at power?
  5. Did you think of an idea for how Marendar might be defeated? A weakness, perhaps?  Or was he pretty much invincible?
  6. Are there ways to get off the Red Star other than Gaardus? Could the Star be broken to allow its inhabitants out?
  7. Similar question—do the beings within the Red Star actually have bodies (i.e. if they were to get out, would they be the same as they were when they died)?

I know a lot of these are hypothetical, so you might not have any definitive answers, but knowing your thoughts and/or hypotheses would be awesome!

Thanks again for all that you do!  Have a good weekend!

Would be cool if it was like that...

Hey there! Happy

Sooo. An idea has been bouncing around in my head for quite awhile, and since you're the brain behind Bionicle, I'm curious enough to ask...

What would you think of a Bionicle-themed MMOG? Whether a spinoff of the present storyline, a previous one, or something entirely different, is beside the point. And also, this is completely theoretical. Joking

It would probably be cool, although I don't know how the MMOG biz is going in general right now.

Yeah, LEGO's already closed their two biggest MMOGs, and based on the sad level of hype for LMO, I wouldn't be suprised if it closes in the near future.

3) No

4) Not that I recall, but I haven't looked it up lately

5) No

6-6b) Don't recall. That was 12 years ago.

7) Bohrok do not have consciousness as such.

1) To my knowledge, they were not designed to be created within the MU

2) He will probably stay to help defend the new society

3) Depends on who their rescuer is. I can't see them siding with Tahu.

4) I don't see him as having plans. He brings dreams to life. That's his role. If he was around being dreams of peace and flowers, he would create that. He's not. So he does things in line with the dreams of those around him.

5) No. If I knew ahead of time how he would be beaten, then when I wrote about him it wouldn't be suspenseful, because I would already know.

6) If you did that, wouldn't they suffocate in space?

7) Yes

Hello!

I was just wonder if we could get clearification on a couple of things:

1. Do Glatorian and/or Agori have permanent mechanical implants?

2. a) Did Vorox and Zesk evolve naturally, or where they manipulated by the Great Beings?

    b) Did they have any permanent mechanical implants?

1) No. They could be removed

2) They evolved naturally, as I recall

2b) No

Excuse me Greg, Could you please confirm if one of the Barraki (possibly Kalmah) comes form the same species as Sidorak.

I fell this would make sense on several levels:

- Sidorak's species is the prime species on Stelt. The Barraki's species were created by Mata Nui to be prime, and this would explain why Sidorak's species has it's status

- Sidorak's species can use kanohi, so can the Barraki's

- If Voporak was one of the Barraki's lieutenants it would have explained his position of power on the isle

- It would also explain the BoM's willingness to experiment on Voporak (If he was a lieutenant)

- It would explain the state of the law on Stelt after the Barraki's defeat

- It would consolidate species and islands

Just a thought.

I also figured Carapar could come from Axonn's species. That has a weaker connection, but both are/ were short, strong warriors with a long reach, both were once conquerors, and both likely came from lands to the south.

Just something for you to consider.

Thankyou very much for your time.

Keep in mind that before their mutation, they were considered beautiful, perfect specimens of creation. So I don't see them as coming from either species and there were never plans for that.
