Matoran Kanohi Questions 1. Did Ehrye, Vhisola, and Orkahm keep their masks from Metru Nui on Mata Nui? No storyline source has ever suggested that they didn't, but BS01 demands explicit clarification in order to add it to the pages. 2. On a tangentially related note, how frequently did Matoran on Mata Nui break their masks and replace them? 3. If we know which mask a Matoran wore on Metru Nui, is it safe to say that they wore the same mask on Mata Nui?
Shadow Takanuva Questions When a previous message asked if the Shadow Takanuva wore the Kanohi Avohkii, you answered that they "would not wear masks that promote peace and light". However, in the same post, you said that their masks looked like the 2008 Avohkii (the one that was partially drained of light). This is a little confusing to me, so if you don't mind my asking, can you clarify what the situation is with the Shadow Takanuva's masks? 1. Do the Shadow Takanuva wear Kanohi Avohkii? 2. If these Kanohi Avohkii have been light-drained, does that mean their powers have changed? 3. What are the powers of the Shadow Takanuva's masks?
Atakus & Velika Questions 1. How and when did Atakus come to work for Velika? 2. What's the full story with Atakus' blades? Did Atakus find them, or did someone else find them and later give them to Atakus? Were they found in a baterra weapons cache (as the Skrall believed), or a Great Being cache, or something else? Did Velika plant them there, did he know about them, or did he only hear about them when Atakus reported them? 3. Does Velika have any special plans for the Skrall? Does he see them as potential allies or enemies? 4. The baterra were never shut off by their failsafe, but after the Shattering, a period of 100,000 years passed in which they did not appear to do anything of note. Is Velika perhaps the reason that they suddenly wiped out the Skrall's northern empire?
Thank you for your time. |
PointlessQuest… | 2014-12-11 13:29 UTC–5 PermalinkBS01 states that the Dark Hunters canonized in the Dark Hunter contest were built by fans and given names and characterization by you. A few weeks ago, however, you implied that the fans had created the characters of their Dark Hunters themselves. Would you mind clarifying how that contest went down? Did you make up the Dark Hunter characters, or were they imagined by the fans and approved by you? |

Part of the contest was that you had to write up an entry to go with your model, describing the character and who they were and what their powers were and their origin, if need be. In some cases, we had to change names, but we stuck as close to those descriptions as we could. Same with the Rahi contest. So no, I did not make up the characters, they were created by fans. |

Boidoh | 2014-12-11 17:15 UTC–5 PermalinkWhen the Bohrok were unleashed on Mata Nui, did they travel to the Kumu Islets to 'cleanse' it?
Also, did the mutated rahi that resided there evacuate before the rising, or did they die?
For a quick refresher, the Kumu Islets were some small islands just off the coast of Kanae Bay on Mata Nui. The mutated rahi of Metru Nui resided there. |

So how did the Toa of the Green get there, then? |
lalajujunini | 2014-12-11 19:31 UTC–5 Permalink
I have been considering this, and have thus rephrased the question:
3. what are Orde and Zaria's mask powers?
3.5. was Zaria actually evil, or was that just a rumor? |

Greg never said Bo-Matoran lived in Ga-Metru, he said that the Toa Mangai of the Green resided there during his stay in Metru Nui, since that place was close to nature.
The Toa of the Green got there the same way the other Toa Mangai got there... |

I've pretty much said what I had to say on the canonization debate, so no, the polls don't bother me. I do agree that "I don't want to know" should be an option, because there could be things the community just does not care about. But at the end of the day, BIONICLE belongs to LEGO Company, so that's who decides when we stop canonizing stuff for Gen1. It could be tomorrow, for all I know, or next year, or never. Until I am told to stop, I will continue to consider requests that are made to me. |

There are a bunch of fallacies running around now that I am pestering you and bugging you to canonize a bunch of stuff. This is false because for starters, you were the one that suggested that we should decide the final element of the Toa Mangai. People seem to don't know all the facts about this and seem to be spreading around incorrect information. Could you please give a statement on this? |
