Hey, Greg. I had a question about something that takes place in one of your books.

So, in the novel version of "Web of Shadows," Matau makes a nest, in which he claims that he made for "attracting visorak" so they could capture them. However, Nokama gets suspicious about this claim, and it made me a bit suspicious as well. I've heard it somewhere that Rahi cannot mate or reproduce, so surely they would not even need a nest to reporoduce. So it made me wonder why Matau would be even doing such a thing, since niether Rahi or Matoran could reproduce.

I just wanted to know how this works out. It's been bothering me ever since I first read the book.

They still need a home to live in and raise the youngins, yes?

Dunno if my last message got through, gonna try again!

Ok, so. Lewa. He's trapped on Bota Magna in the last moments we see him. Captured by Agori, if I remember correctly. If the canon story had continued, what had been planned? He was separated from the other Toa Nuva. Would he have gotten back to them? Or no? Also, you said Takanuva was planned to have a role in a Great Being civil war. What kind of role? Would he be a general? Would he have died as a Martyr?

(I tried to send something like this earlier, you can ignore this if the first one got through!)

Hey Greg,

Is BIONICLE going to comeback anytime soon (within the next few years?)

Thanks!

Greg, have you seen the picture of the supposed "Bionicle 2015"? I don't believe it and would like to see your opinion on it. I am not asking if Bionicle is coming back, but more if these pictures are real or if somebody just faked it. I think it's faked personally.

It's not faked. There's a host of reasons. For exmple; those sets use tons of new pieces. There is almost nobody in the bionicle community with enough skill or motivation at 3D modeling to create SO MANY high quality new pieces, build convincing sets for them, render them, and then create boxarts for them. There is so much design that goes into just that display case.

Also, if you think greg is going to answer your question (especially after like 20 people before you have asked the same question), you're horribly wrong (and horribly *something else* too!)

Well, it could be nonLEGO. By that I mean another company is making a theme called "Bionice" or something with a similar name. It happened with Ninjago, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is that.

Then wouldn't the LEGO group say that it's not them? And also sue that other company, because Bionicle is still tradearked since it got renewed in 2012 if I remember correctly. Earlier verion of the leak also shows the LEGO logo, so...

We normally start working on the first issue of the next year around July of the year before. So, for example, we are working on issue 1 for 2015 now.

Are you using that as a fictional example or are you realy doing that?

I was referring to the first issue of LEGO Magazine for 2015.

It didn't say anything. The RS was never explained in a story bible. I made up what it did.

Yes. We are working on the first issues of LEGO Magazine and LEGO Club Jr. magazine for 2015 now. We are NOT working on a BIONICLE comic for 2015.

How far in advance did you have to write the Bionicle books and how long did it normally take to write one?

I don't plan my stories ahead of time. I write them as they come to me. As I have often said, I don't tell the stories to  my characters, they tell the stories to me.
