ToaFeron | 2014-07-28 19:37 UTC–5 Permalinkhi, Mr. Farshtey! i had a question- in bionicle, did Hewkii and Macku have an intimate relationship? i ask this because i have always believed that they did, and i just wanted some confirmation.
thank you very much for your time, |

Oh, I just noticed when I was writting the original question I was thinking about BIONICLE but failed to metion BIONICLE in the acual question so just forget my second question. |

It's not faked. There's a host of reasons. For exmple; those sets use tons of new pieces. There is almost nobody in the bionicle community with enough skill or motivation at 3D modeling to create SO MANY high quality new pieces, build convincing sets for them, render them, and then create boxarts for them. There is so much design that goes into just that display case. |
cjjlego3 | 2014-07-28 21:22 UTC–5 PermalinkHi there Greg, thank you for doing this for all of your fans! I have been a major fan for a long time and I take inspiration when I write from you. I did have a few idea questions to ask you: 1) Were other Toa (non-mata) able to collect multiple Kanohi and cycle through the powers? 2) If they could cycle through similarly to the Mata, would it be possible to use two Kanohi at once? Using powers like levitation and speed for flight. 3) If dual powers could be used at a single time, would the Kanohi Akaku (x-ray vision) or the Kanohi Ruru (night vision), work with the Kanohi Kualsi (quick travel)? I understood that the powers of the Kualsi was based on line of sight, therefore if you use a second Kanohi to increase the line of sight would that be pheasable? Thank you for your time and consideration to answer my questions. |

Well, it could be nonLEGO. By that I mean another company is making a theme called "Bionice" or something with a similar name. It happened with Ninjago, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is that. |
misterbrickguy | 2014-07-28 22:27 UTC–5 PermalinkHey, Greg. I had a question about something that takes place in one of your books.
So, in the novel version of "Web of Shadows," Matau makes a nest, in which he claims that he made for "attracting visorak" so they could capture them. However, Nokama gets suspicious about this claim, and it made me a bit suspicious as well. I've heard it somewhere that Rahi cannot mate or reproduce, so surely they would not even need a nest to reporoduce. So it made me wonder why Matau would be even doing such a thing, since niether Rahi or Matoran could reproduce.
I just wanted to know how this works out. It's been bothering me ever since I first read the book. |

loco828 | 2014-07-28 23:41 UTC–5 PermalinkHi, Greg. I haven't used this account on LEGO in a long, long time. But, I have to ask. You once said that if the story had continued, Takanuva would have been a main character in a civil war between the Great Beings (? That's right, yes?). But, what would his specific role have been? Was he planned to be a general of some kind? Was his destiny to die as a martyr?
Another question I have: When you continued the BIONICLE storyline past 2010, Lewa got separated from the other Toa Mata/Nuva/whatever you wish to call him on Bota Magna. If the story had continued, would he have ever gotten back into contact with the others?
Thank you if you respond to this. It would be very cool to talk to you. |

Even if it was fake I don't think he's allowed to discuss it. HE may not even know if they're real or fake, although some LMB Mods seem to know. Hint hint wink wink. |

In MNOG, the Bohrok Animations, and MNOGII, Maku and Huki have what is clear as day love for each other. Since then, however, Greg ruled their relationship uncanon, stating that beings in the MAtoran Universe are incapable of love beyond that of a friend caring about a friend (despite the fact that these two "friends" nearly kissed). I would like to ask why you decided to make it non-canon after it being canon for years. |

I can answer a few of these!
1) Technically, yes (although finding a Kanohi just lying on the ground is rare outside of Mata Nui). 2) No, unless that mask specifically has that power (i.e. the Golden Kanohi allowed the user to activate all six Kanohi powers, and both of the Toa Kaita had masks which gave them the Kanohi powers of their three Toa). 3) Tricky question, and Greg will tell you the right answer, but I would guess that, theoritically, if a Golden Kanohi posessed both an Akaku and a Kualsi, then, theoritically, based off of what's been known to work with the Suletu, then, yes, that would work. But only if this theoritical mask existed- only Arthaka is known to be able to create Golden Kanohi, and the only other masks that can combine powers require a Kaita merge
I hope my answers were accurate and helpful. |
