How do you define mammal? Most of the BIONICLE characters we met had organic lungs and breathed air. |

Hero Factory is different from BIONICLE, and it was intended to be so. BIONICLE had an epic, huge story -- Hero Factory does not. Hero Factory was meant to be episodic and to not have a lot of back story so people could jump right in. If you tried to get into BIONICLE in, say, 2008, you would have been largely clueless what was going on unless you went back and caught up on story. That was a challenge when it came to recruiting new fans. No, Hero Factory is not to everyone's taste. Neither was BIONICLE. When B. first came out, legions of fans were posting online how much they hated it. When the first comic came out, there were people quitting LEGO Club in protest. Nothing is going to please everyone, and if HF does not please you, that's cool. Hopefully, some other product line does. |

Hi Acidicus -- When Wu first came to the Kai, Cole, Zane and Jay, he told them that because of the menace facing Ninjago (the skeleton army), he needed their help. But the truth was, he knew about a lot more menaces than that on the way, and he had been monitoring the four of them for a much longer time than they knew. This was about him realizing he could not keep on fighting alone, not just because there was one new foe to worry about. And he never told them that, or about the fact that there were going to be many more battles to right after Samukai's army was defeated. |

Of course you're allowed to talk about BIONICLE. But this person was asking about a name, and BIONICLE names have to go through a legal approval process. Since the line is no longer active, there are no names to use. It is not a question of LEGO "pretending it doesn't exist." But there are no new sets, there is no marketing going on for it, so it is not going to be the focus of the company. The focus has to be lines that are active. Promoting BIONICLE when there are no sets anyone can buy doesn't make much sense as a business move. |

1) There aren't any plans for another HF comic. 2) Well, the first switch was because Carlos left to do other things. The other switches were because the company wanted to try new looks for the comic.
3) I assume he wasn't asked.
4) Yes. The script was sent to DC and they sent it to the artist and handled getting the inking and coloring done.
5) Don't have one
6) No idea.
7) Again, no idea.I have written probably a million words or more in my career.
8) I don't have plans to leave the boards unless I get super busy |

I actually got asked not to post outside of this forum, since it is really the job of the mods to comment in the other forums. |

Acidicus - For like the tenth time, I cannot discuss anything regarding 2014. |

It's a good question. I think it comes down to how the staff works -- is the power in the staff, or is just being focused through it, the way Toa powers are through their tools? Based on what we have done elsewhere, one would think it is being focused through it, meaning it would have no power if not being used by a Rahkshi. |
