My little brother got a Ninjago comic book out of the library, and I noticed that you were credited as the author.  It got me thinking, did you write the storyline for the Papercutz comic books, or were you given a story outline and told to just write the details? Thinking Thanks! Happy

I came up with the plots for those books, and ran them past the NINJAGO story team for approval.

Hello! I have a few questions about Bionicle if you have the time to answer!

-If you were aproached by LEGO to do anything Bionicle related in the future, do you think you'd be interested?

-Can the Avohkii and Kraahkan (Masks of light and dark) be the same mask that changes between two forms (dark and light) based on the wearers spirit/morality? It seems possible since it's technically an elemental mask and not a legendary, implying more than one could be made of each.

Thanks dude! You're the coolest!

1) Yes, but since BIONICLE has been cancelled, hard to see that happening.

2) No.

hey Greg, will you be doing anymore ninjago LEGO graphic novels?

Hi,

Two of the three NINJAGO Dark Island books that I did the scripts for are out now, with the third coming out later this year. After that, I am not scheduled to do anything at this point.

Ah, I didn't know that. Happy Was it like that for all the books you wrote? Thinking Take, for instance, the Bionicle Legends books? Happy

Yes and no. Some of the BIONICLE books deal with main story, and the main story came from the story team as a whole, not just me. And some of the BIONICLE books were side stories that I came up with. The Hero Factory books were all my stories. The Papercutz NINJAGO stories were all my ideas, with help from the story team. The Dark Island books, however, feature a story crafted by the NINJAGO team and Little Brown -- I just wrote the scripts for those.

I think the first fiction book I ever contributed to was the Aysle Sourcebook in 1990. First published short story was, I think, in Dragons Over England in 1992, and my first novel was The River of God, also in 1992.

Thanks, but I didn't create NINJAGO and I don't have anything to do with the show. I just wrote the graphic novels for it.

Oh cool! I havn't read those yet.

I've been working on a story/movie for about a year and I was wondering if you could maybe read it and tell me what you think of it. I have had writers block for some time and I thought maybe a pro could help.

1) Is it like a Koro or an entire Island?

2) Nevermind...what happened to the Toa Inika? Jaller, Matoro...those guys. After the remaining five were teleported to Metru Nui, what happened to them?

3) I know, but I figured Makuta was the universe, so it would be deemed his. So, all the islands are inside of the giant metal body? In the movie Bionicle the Legend Reborn, the robot rose from the water. I'm assuming it was sleeping on a water planet, or was the planet flat, like a bed?

4) Their goodness was shoved out of their bodies by dark magic, and the goodness took shape as ponies.

5) Cool, thanks!

6) Thanks!

7) Might I suggest adding more Club Codes? And maybe some more info, like character Bios. Last suggestion, the info in the magazine is totally current. In fact, I could look online and find information about upcoming LEGO themes before the mag says anything. No offense. Maybe more inside stories, and ad more news, stuff like that.

1) Neither. It's one-third of the planet. The planet was broken into three pieces -- Aqua Magna, Bara Magna and Bota Magna.

2) You do know they became the Mahri after they were the Inika, right? Anyway, they are on Spherus Magna with everyone else.

3) It was on Aqua Magna

4) No, Keetongu cannot undo magic. There is no magic in the Matoran Universe.

1) Interesting...so the three pieces, they're the three circles in the unity, duty, destiny logo?

2) Yes, I know. So they're on a different island...whew! I thought they were wiped out!

3) Really? So, Mata-Nui slept on Aqua Magna, then got launched to Bara Magna? What's Bota Magna? So...Spherus Magna...it was, like, the mother world? Joking Mind. Blown.

Mr. Farshtey:

1. Can someone wearing a Mask of Fusion un-fuse a fusion of beings that they are not a part of?

2. If the Skakdi Fusion (the gold-skinned being) were to be un-fused (if it can be), would all of the beings that make it up be alive?

3. Why did the Shadowed One's eye beams turn Zaktan into Protodites instead of disintegrating him?

So Greg, you confirmed a while back that the Great Beings are Glatorian. But that brings up a question: what, if any, tribes are they from? Are there possibly any Skrall among their ranks?

Hey Greg

I may have just not found it in all these comments, but roughly a month ago you said you were gonna reveal a story about the Earth Tribe and why it was never mentioned in the main plot. Assuming you didn't acutally reveal it,

any chance of that happening soon?
