5) On page 823 of this thread you confirmed that the Great Beings are part of the Glatorian Species. When I tried to edit their page on BS01, I was told that in the past you had wanted to keep their species a mystery, and that you probably just forgot. Is that true, or was it an intentional retcon?
Have a nice day
5) I was originally, but little by little, I have been leaking stuff out. Old BIONICLE is over, new BIONICLE is almost over, might as well flesh them out a little. Had the serials been finished, you probably would have seen some of them anyway.
5. And with that, will you give BS01 your blessing to formally reveal the species of the Great Beings?

1) In the third comic of the Glatorian series, "A Hero Reborn", Gelu is attacked by a group of Skrall. After he hides behind a rock, one of them says to the others "Drag him out of there... piece by piece if you have to!", and Gelu responds by saying "Now that's a truly disgusting suggestion!" This makes me wonder, does Gelu understand the Skrall language? Or was that Skrall talking in the Agori language? If so, why? Could it be that he was trying to scare Gelu? 2) Is it possible that the Bahrag created some new Bohrok-Kal after they were freed by the Toa Nuva? 3) In the second chapter of The Yesterday Quest, after Orde explains that all of the other Matoran/Toa/Turaga of Psionics were made female because the Great Beings thought that such a power needed to be in gentler hands, Chiara fries a nearby lizard with a bolt of electricity and says "Right, we females are so gentle after all." Why did she end the life of an innocent creature just to make a point? Couldn't she have just shot a bolt at Orde like she did in the previous chapter? 4) Speaking of Psionics, if the Great Beings thought that Orde was a danger with his powers, why didn't they just deactivate him? It was before the awakening so he wouldn't be considered a sentient being.
1) It would make sense that at least some Agori/Glatorian would know the Skrall language. Too dangerous if nobody understands the enemy. 2) Doubtful. Why bother? 3) Not everyone is an animal lover 4) Must have foreseen some use down the line
3. Does the Toa code only apply to sentient life then? Or is Chiara simply a little heartless and destructive?

All right, I am BACK. 1) Why were Av-Matoran chosen to become Bohrok insted of the GBs making Bohrok seperately? 2) Also, how were they (Av-Matoran) transformed? 3) Why were krana needed to power Bohrok instead of the Av-Matoran retaining sentience as Bohrok? 4)How are krana made, and what are they made from? 5) When the Toa Nuva lose their elemental powers, why do their masks turn grey is they have no connection the their elements? 6) How was Takunuva larger in the events of 2008? 7) Also, how were Takunuva and Gresh both made smaller in 2010? 8) Are the Great Beings a seperate species, or are they closer to Glatorian?
1) It was faster to do it that way than have to build a whole new array of beings 2) It's a natural part of their bodies' programming 3) There wasn't an easy way to have the Matoran retain their intelligence after the transformation and the GBs were in a time crunch. Krana were the alternative. 4) Not something I care to reveal 5) We have seen that Toa masks are normally gray until they are donned. When the Toa lose their elemental powers, the masks do not react the way they would to being put on by a Toa, because there are no elemental energies to react to. 6) Same reason the Av-Matoran were larger -- the energies of Karda Nui 7) Once you leave Karda Nui, the effects of the energies reverse themselves. For the most part, though, 2010 was a set thing, not a story thing. 8) I believe I answered this already, but I can't remember what I said
8. They are confirmed to be Glatorian.
8. I KNOW. I ALREADY FOUND IT OUT, THEN SOMEONE ELSE TOLD ME.

So... 1) In the online serial Destiny War, it says,"And keeping prisoners means listening to them whine about trivial things like food, water, and a good-sized club to use on the Stone Rats who keep paying them night visits." Does this mean that MU beings require some form of sustenance? 2) Also in Destiny War,"Toa Mahri Jaller stood in the center of Metru Nui, gazing up at the statue of the late Matoro. It had been constructed by Turaga Onewa himself as a tribute to the fallen hero." Did Onewa make a statue taller than Jaller by himself? Or did he plan it and oversee or had matoran help? 3) Are any Bionicle sets not to scale? 4) Do krana have sentience? 5) Does Mata Nui have a form when he takes control of a robot? 6) In the second to last (i think) comic story, when Mata Nui enters the prototype robot, his physical form turns to its original sand components. Would this not cause any circuitry to get messed up? Those are all the questions I have for today except... 7) What do you personally like about Bionicle, not as a LEGO employee? Thank you, and I hope to see you again!

3. It's been established before that it only applies to sentient life. While Toa generally would prefer not to terminate a Rahi, it's permissible.

2b. Most if not all elements on the periodic table are atoms, not molecules (i.e. hydrogen, carbon, oxygen). As such, I would assume that if protodermis or antidermis were to be their own elements, that they would comprise purely of their own atoms rather than being a mix of other substances.
Right. My question is, do we know if protoderrmis and antidermis are or are not based on carbon, and therefore BIONICLE characters would be carbon-based life.

1) We know they do. They simply eat differently than we do, by absorbing energy directly from certain things. 2) He made it himself. Lots of artists make works or art bigger than they are. 3) I don't remember every single set, so I can't answer this. 4) Since sentience just means a capacity to feel sensation, yes. 5-6) To be honest, I don't remember the details of this story. It's been six years. 7) The vast potential of the story universe.

3. I got the terms "sentient" and "sapient" mixed up it seems... If it applies to all sentient life, then that means that Chiara violated the Toa code.

We don't, sadly. :/

Hello! I was just wondering: Are you ever going to do something new? It would be cool to have somethig with as good a plot as classic Bionicle again.

Hi Mr Greg! 1. The destiny of all beings of the MU is part of their programmation? for example, the destiny of Takua to become Takanuva and defeat Teridax. this could just be part of its program. If it's the case, the destiny of Takanuva to play a major role in a civil war against Velika is also part of its program? Maybe just in case one of the Great Beings wanted to take control of Spherus Magna after its réunification? 2. When she is fully fed on dreams, Annona is as dangerous and powerful than the Great Spirit Robot (Teridax) may be worse? If so, when Annona has devoured the dreams of all of Skakdi on the fortress, She was as dangerous as the GSR? 3. The Sister of Skrall that his psychic powers were amplified by Angonce is she real? Or she was invented by the Sister of Skrall? If she exists, She is basically the living embodiments of the psychic like the Elements Lord? (I know psychic is not considered as an element on Spherus Magna but she can be their equivalent) 4. The Great Beings are immortal? (Thanks to their technologies) or they can live much longer than the Glatorian and the Agori? (Again thanks to their technology) 5. The Great Beings have a color and a symbol "tribal" as the Glatorian/Skrall/Agori? If yes, which one? 6. The Great Beings are a group of scientist and crafters of the iron tribe? I think this because the Nynrah Ghost are also a skilled group of Fe Matoran crafters. Maybe this could be the case for the Great Beings, two group of genius crafters of a iron tribe. Thanks
