1) I would say no. From what I have read (because the Psionics Toa element was a fan idea, not a LEGO idea), it has more to do with things like telekinesis and being able to fire mental blasts like MODOK does in the comics. But there's no indication it would make you immune to the masks you mention. It probably would come down to a struggle of willpower, with the being with the greater willpower and mental discipline winning most of the time.

Given the fact that any Toa of Psionics is going to be relying on strength of mind simply to use their powers, however, and therefore be practising this very frequently, would you say that more often than not they would win one of these struggles?

All Toa require willpower to use their mask powers and to control their elements, so it's not a given a Psionics Toa would always win. For example, a Toa of Fire who has been active for decades would be more skilled at the use of his willpower than a Toa of Psionics active for six months.

Interesting.  One more thing: if a Toa of Psionics attempts to perform a mental action against another being, such as trying to seize control of their mind or stunning them, would the Toa of Psionics have any sort of advantage in the ensuing battle of thought?

So, are the Baterra a type of bohrok?  I looked at PZ comic book #8 "Legends of Bara Magna" I saw them and to my older brother and I, we thought they were a type of Bohrok.  Possibly the first designs?

1) You're ignoring the fact that Solis and Bara and words like that have meanings too. So Bara Magna would be "great desert," Aqua Magna would be "great ocean" and "Solis Magna" would be "great sun," just to name a few.

 

2) Baterra are completely mechanical artifical life, but they are not evolved from Matoran the way Bohrok are and they have powers and abilities Bohrok do not have. So I would not say they are an early design, no.

1) What are the origins of Mata Nui locations names? Like Motara Desert, Fau Swamp and Kumu Islets. I know many of these names were taken from Maori language, but what is the storyline explanation? Are they the names of various beings(like Mount Ihu, Naho Bay and Tren Krom Break) or just Matoran words meaning the same("Fau" means "Swamp", "Motara" means "Desert", etc.)?

2) What happened to mutated Muaka and mutated Kikanalo after all? Were they healed by Rahaga?

3) Is the Bionicle multiverse connected to the main LEGO multiverse?

Recently I heard that in 2005 Bionicle wasn suposed to have returned to the present at the time of the Bionicle universe and am wondering what the story would have been?

Hello Mr. Greg Farshtey, I had a question regarding the ttv message boards. Will you ever make an account to speak with fans there and discuss canon. There is alot of new and old fans waiting to "meet" you and I'm sure with a community of at least 10,000 you will have a great time answering question. (If you are wondering, we have a team of moderaters that check posts and rules to keep things civil.)

1.) When the Piraka invaded Voya Nui posing as Toa heroes, how did they know that the Mask of Life would be in the volcano? Is that the reason the came to Voya Nui?

2.) When the Toa Mahri Matoro sacrificed himeself to save Mahri Nui, why did the Mask of Life just suddenly turn silver?

3.) How did the Mask of Life go from being in Mahri Nui with Matoro to Karda Nui?

4.)What was your favourite location

5.) For number 4, I mean like Voya Nui, Mata Nui, Metru Nui, Karda Nui, Mahri Nui, all the "Magna" places, and Okoto; also, did I miss namine any worlds? Is there another "Nui" or something that I left out?

Mr. Farshtey, I just want to say thank you for doing this forum! A lot of authors, you send them fan mail, and they send you an ad saying: "We apoligize, but this author gets so much fan mail he is not able to respond... etc."

I find it awesome to be able to ask one of my favourite authors, (my first being myself, if that counts,) about his books and the universe he created.

A lot of people like J.R.R. Tolkein because he invented languages and worlds. To me, that's what you did, too.

I know that Bio-Mechanics call the group of Glatorian who derived in making them, Great Beings. But what would other Glatorians call the Great Beings? The "Robed Ones"?
