1) In the Powers that be, it seemed like Velika had a plan involving the Red Star. Does this plan have anything to do with the 'zombified' MU inhabitants?
2) Is it possible that some of the Great beings did not go into exile, but rather became leaders of agori society on Bota or bara magna?
3) Is there a canon reason why velika was sent to Karzahni? |

puma7372 | 2015-10-18 21:54 UTC–5 PermalinkDo you remember if that's what happened in the past, as per "No One Gets Left Behind" or "Decadence"? |
Johnyjo | 2015-10-18 22:43 UTC–5 PermalinkHello Mr Farshtey, I have a question that's probably been asked before so sorry if you've already had to answer it. How soon did you personally find out that Mata Nui was a giant robot? Or was that known right from the start? Thank you! |

That was part of the very first story bible, back in 2000. MN being a robot was the original concept for BIONICLE. |

When Bionicle was originaly planned to end in 2001, was this planned to be revealed? Good job on keeping it a secret for 7 years, though |
puma7372 | 2015-10-19 18:06 UTC–5 PermalinkHi Greg, I've been a huge fan of all your work for nearly 8 years so it's a huge honor to be able to finally talk to you! Hope you can consider these questions:
1. Can the Kualsi teleport to other planets? Say if a Kualsi user viewed a moon, say, would they be able to instantly teleport there or would it be too far away to be precise enough?
2. Is there an upper limit to how fast a Kakama user can run, or is it pretty much infinite?
3. Does the Pakari grant a user durability as well as strength?
4. Could the Hau be used underwater to cocoon oneself in air and breathe while submerged?
5. Does the Kaukau have to be consciously activated or does it automatically switch on in water? Can the same be said when the user is outside of the water i.e. so they do not suffocate
6. Would the Tryna be considered an immoral mask since it reanimates the dead as zombies?
7. In Trinuma's Mask of Charisma the default shape of the mask (therefore Tahu's Hau Nuva simply happened to look similar)?
8. Can the Mask of Charisma permanently alter a being's worldview i.e. the changes remain after the user has stopped focusing the mask power on them? If not it would seem underpowered since the user has to maintain quite a lot of effort and diplomacy for the Mask to take effect anyway.
9. Was the fact that the Toa Inika's masks stayed on all the time a feature of them being organic masks, or is it a feature of those masks specifically?
10. Are newly created Matoran given pre-programmed identities and personalities?
11. Can Bara Magnans reproduce as we do i.e. male-to-female?
12. Are the Great Beings more organic or biomechanical? Can they be compared to us?
13. Is there a 'genetic' difference between Agori tribes i.e. could separate tribes interbreed? What would the result look like?
14. Can Volitak users be seen? Is it much like the perception filter in Doctor Who, where it takes lots of concentration to see them, or does the stealth effect wear off if the user is discovered?

puma7372 | 2015-10-19 18:28 UTC–5 PermalinkHi, this is a continuation of my previous thread of questions. Sorry to bother you, it's been a long time.
1. Are the great Beings allegorical to 'gods', using Clarke's Law that 'any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable to magic'. I understand LEGO would be hesitant to impose such themes on children.
2. What happened to Nocturn? How did he die?
3. Is Kapura's ability to travel quickly a skill all Matoran can learn? If so, is it specific to Matoran alone? Was it programmed by the Great Beings?
4. Any idea how Vakama learned the above skill? Can he do it himself or was he only able to teach it theoretically; Kapura may have 'perfected' it if you get my drift.
5. Is the Matoran written language the same as the one the Matoran speak?
6. Are Axonn and Brutaka's abilities common to all members of their species? Or could they be a result of their presence in the OoMN?
7. Does a Felnas only work if it is used while the target is using its powers?
8. Why couldn't Makuta Miserix use his Mask of Mutation on the Klakks guarding him?
9. Did the Matoran of Metru Nui wear masks other than the original twelve (Mata + noble/great Metru) and if so, did they bring any to Mata Nui?
10. Can a Toa use another Toa's tools? Would they only be able to channel their own element through them (say, Iruini using the Lava Spear would not be able to create lava.)
11. Can Toa of Gravity create black holes? Could a Garai user create one?
12. Is all life in the Matoran universe tied to the Ignika?
13. Would Icarax had been killed by Gorast's attack if he were still antidermis?
14. What would a psionics Nova Blast do?
15. Is Heremus still alive?
16. Does Annona have the power to challenge the Great Beings?
17. Was the Element Lord of Sand as bestial as the Vorox?
Thank you for considering these questions, I wish you good endeavors with your work |

No, I am not involved in writing for Gen2 BIONICLE. |
ScribeGT6817 | 2015-10-20 08:12 UTC–5 Permalink
Well, the original plan was to reveal it at the end of 2001, since no one was certain BIONICLE would last more than a year. |
ScribeGT6817 | 2015-10-20 08:16 UTC–5 Permalink
Underwater, it would provide breathing apparatus and in snow and ice it would provide extra layers to insulate the Toa. |
