ankas | 2015-07-28 11:04 UTC–5 PermalinkGreg, I've been told that the idea behind Spherus Magna wasn't thought up until 2003 when the Three Virtues also came into the picture, however I was wondering whether the idea that there were three celestial objects was thought up before, but just not given any story roles? I am asking since the chars in Nixie's hut shows three celestial objects. Maybe that was just a coincidence though? |

You heard wrong. Spherus Magna didn't come into being until the decision was made to wake up Mata Nui in 2008, and that decision was made in '06 or '07. The idea of the planet being split into three pieces was something we retrofitted on to what we already had, it wasn't part of original storyl.

ankas | 2015-07-28 13:53 UTC–5 PermalinkI actually meant 2006-2007. The Three Virtues logo was in 2003 though. However, I wanted to ask you, if you know, why the Bionicle logo looked the way it did, prior the invention of the Virtues? Now, about Nixie's chart. I don't know if you've ever seen it, but it's a really cool coincidence that it has three celestial bodies. The middle "planet" on the chart is the bigger one, however it is referred to in the chart as being where Mata Nui is located. I just thought, it would be cool to canonize it as a chart of the Solis Magna system. I assume you're able to see Bota Magna and Bara Magna in the Aqua Magna sky at times, correct? Now, I know this whole idea is a bit silly, but I have a good explanation, I think. People often hold their own countries in high regard, and on world maps enlarge them, making them larger than lands that are supposed to be bigger than it. That might explain why Nixie has drawn their celestial body as the bigger one. Or it could be like a close-up on Aqua Magna. I know it didn't mean anything originally, since it was in the MNOG and the planet system wasn't made up until later, but it is cool to think that it might actually be the Solis Magna System. What do you think? Safe to canonize, or not? |

1) I can only do LEGO-related books if I get asked to do so by a publisher. There are no plans for LEGO Jurassic Word books that I know about (publishers normally only want to do LEGO books if the theme is going to be around for multiple years). There are new BIONICLE chapter books coming out, but I am not writing them. |

1) No. I don't. Logo design was not my dept 2) I am not familiar with Nixie's chart, and I doubt it would make sense to canonize something as the Solis Magna system when that is clearly not what it was ever intended to be and no one was paying attention it when we devised Spherus Magna. |

I doubt it. It's being written by the same guys who write the TV show, so I can't see why they would need my help. |

Well, in the movies, they put them on their back and then they vanished, which never got explained. But my guess is they carry them on their back normally, so as to have them nearby. |
