Not something I had decided. I threw things like that in there because it would force me to come up with story for it at some point. It was sort of like stocking the cupboard with ingredients for a future recipe. |

I think it is just coincidence. Remember that different people were coming up with different parts of the story, and it just worked out that way Also remember that arguably the biggest corruption was Vakama, who wasn't Air. |
D.S.S.99 | 2015-07-10 09:17 UTC–5 PermalinkHi Greg I have alot of questions about the Bionicle 2008 line "Creeps from the deep" question one can you tell me the backstories for all the barraki, Hydraxon, Noctern and the zyglak? And also additional information about the pit would also be of help. |
Daler99 | 2015-07-10 09:55 UTC–5 PermalinkHello, Greg,
When Jaller, Hewkii, Takanuva, etc. we're on their way to Voya Nui, how did they get to Karzahni? Did they travel through a tunnel under the great barrier in Metru Nui?
Thank you for your time! |
Keilax | 2015-07-10 10:57 UTC–5 PermalinkHi Mr Farshtey! I know you probably don't care about my personal life, but, I have been into BIONICLE in 2007. My first BIONICLE was Dekar, the Po-Matoran who tragically was doomed to be Hydraxon. I still have him, along with all my other sets. I suppose I just wanted to say, it's really great that you still do this. Even though I can't speak for others, I know it has been postive to me. I think you told a fantastic story, which, in the end, is what matters, I believe. No matter what some people may say, BIONICLE is truly among the best stories I've ever known. That said, I suppose I should ask some questions now.
1) Do you reckon Vezon is capable of actually killing any one? I mean, he was dangerous with the Ignika, but afterwards, no matter how fantastic a character he was, he wasn't really that dangerous. 2) Do you consider him a bad guy? Or something else? 3) Who came up with the Red Star idea? (Of it being an afterlife and rebirth centre) 4) Does the Olmak have limitations? As in, can it only travel to alternate universes in it's own multiverse (the BIONICLE Multiverse) or can it travel to other Multiverses too? I know that it would never happen, but hypothetically, could it? 5) Is it possible for just 2 Toa to fuse? Or is it a minimum of 3? 6) Could 2 Kaita's fuse? What would that make if they can? Would it be some special fusion, or would it be a Toa Nui? As, the fusion would still have 6 Toa. 7) Does the GSB have limitations in its Dream/Reality Warping ability? |

You can probably find all of this through Google, D.S. It would take a long time for me to type up all that up. |
fantasy1111 | 2015-07-10 13:59 UTC–5 Permalinkgreg,I have some questions on page 722,so can you see them,please? |
NerdyIV | 2015-07-10 14:31 UTC–5 Permalink1. Did Velika succeed in his plan of destroying Artahka, Axonn, Brutaka, etc? 2.Can Velika, in his matoran form, use his Great Being powers? 3. Can Velika, in his matoran form use his mask power because he's a Great Being? 4.Did Karzahni know where the island Artahka was, even after the maps and things about it were destroyed? 5. In the Exile's tale, Malum is shown carrying a Cordak blaster. How did he manage to get one of these? 6. Can someone with a kanohi Rode, such as Axonn, see through a Baterra's disguise? Thanks for taking your time to answer all of our questions! |

I think this post got buried |
maletoaofwater | 2015-07-10 15:50 UTC–5 PermalinkIn Voyage of Fear, the toa metru ran into a squad of vahki in the tunnels beyond metru nui. Onewa attempts to mind-control them, however, because they were only machines, and thus didn't have true minds, it didn't work.
1.Doesn't this indicate that the MU inhabitants had organic, or mostly organic, brains? Otherwise, if they were mechanical, or mostly mechanical, onewa should have been able to control the vahki. At the least, in my opinion, it indicates that they were composed of different enough materials (organic vs mechanical) to not work the same. 2. The tunnels they traveled through were obviously ancient, however, while mata nui was flying through space, they would have simply led nowhere. (Wait, right?) What was their purpose, then? Was there a case when the matoran would have had to go up to the island when he was landed on a planet? |
maletoaofwater | 2015-07-10 16:14 UTC–5 PermalinkTagging along with my brain question I just submitted, it was mentioned several times that the MU people have "muscles", "tissue", and a little more vaguely, "organs". We know their muscles and lungs are organic, and we can guess they don't have an organic digestive system since they don't actually consume food. But given they have muscles and lungs, they must also have a circulatory system, yes? The oxygen they get from the lungs has to get to the muscles somehow. Also, we know they can die from compression sickness, as seen by that matoran from mahri nui who saved hahli when she dove after the mask of life, further pointing to an organic circulatory system.
Also, many times in various media, both their mechanical parts and their added armor has been referred to as simply "armor". (One such instance was the energized protodermis entity calling helryx a creature of "tissue and armor", and a few more came from describing the makuta's bodily composition, before and after transformation.) Is it possible that those are the same thing? That, instead of them putting on their armor as we humans might do, that the armor they "put on" is an addition to their mechanical parts? (Like when the matoran of metru nui rebuilt themselves... Basically just rebuilt their armor.) That would seem to clear up much of the ambiguity of the word "armor". |
Andrew31kbrick… | 2015-07-10 21:01 UTC–5 PermalinkHey Greg, In the G1 storyline, was Takanuva the first Toa of Light? |
Toa-Nuva-von-M… | 2015-07-11 13:33 UTC–5 Permalink
1. He is. You canonized that at some point in this thread.
2. This is first time I hear of this. Back when the story was still going, you were very clear on Teridax and Miserix being the only Makuta left during Teridax's reign. Teridax had killed every other Makuta because he considered them a danger to his reign. Did you change this recently, or did you just assume it was canon because the person who asked the question presented it as a fact? |
Wilmerkardell | 2015-07-11 21:34 UTC–5 PermalinkHello Greg.
Appearently you said this on "BZP GregF Answers."
"At the villagers' camp, Lewa discovered that they blamed the Great Beings' technology for the disaster that befell their home world. He was able to awe them with his elemental air power, since it was not produced by a machine, and the villagers decided not to kill him immediately."
Is this true? I thought you said you didn't know what happened to him toehr than that he was alive. |
