I believe these were buried...
1) You can't really do half measure nova blasts. But there are plenty of ways for a Toa to do what you are suggesting just using a regular application of their power. Lewa could whip up a tornado to disperse multiple opponents, Kopaka could make a blizzard, etc.
2) I don't recall us coming up with a story reason for it. As you said, it was a set thing that we just had to go with.
3) I did not see him as being part of a known species.
4) My best answer would be that, as in our world, tech develops in different places at different times. The fact that Kanoka were invented in Ko-Metru 4000 years ago doesn't mean they couldn't have been developed somewhere else earlier than that. Ancient did not come from Metru Nui, after all.

Just a quick question: did the Metru Nui Matoran suffer any ill affects from spending roughly one thousand years on the island of Mata Nui. I only ask becuase a car, for example, is perfectly capable of sitting out in the sun, snow and rain, but really is best preserved in an artificial environment. Thanks!

I have an idea that Conjurer, Tyrant, Ancient, and The Shadowed One are all from the same Southern Island that Ancient plunged into war. Tyrant and Conjurer were two who individually gave up on conquering the island and left for another southern island to conquer with plans to later conquer other areas.
TSO and Conjurer are from the same species (both have similar heads and builds) which is related to, but not the same as Krekka's species, and Ancient and Tyrant are from the same species (both have similiar heads, tails, and claw hands). Both of the races are based in the same island.
The fact that they may have been rivals on their island may provide additional reasons why Conjurer and Tyrant are so insolent to the Shadowed One and Ancient.
What do you think? It doesn't bend or break anything in Dark Hunters or strech things out too extreme limits, yet it provides a backstory to consolidate islands and races (which is something a lot of people have been calling for).

2. I would suggest that Kongu, as a former Gukko rider, would be far more used to ranged weapons than melee weapons. That's why he didn't discard his Laser Crossbow as an Inika - first and foremost it was for ranged combat.

2. Brutaka will remain under the influence of Antidermis? It seemed to me that the effect of absorption Antidermis previously been temporary.
A) Brutaka would like to regain Olmak? He could ask about this Artakha (formerly Artakha Olmak already done and can create it on the spot). It would be nice.
B) Brutaka cured of mutations as Barraki or not?

4. If the legendary Mask will be destroyed in the MU - disaster strikes on the scale of the world. And if it happens to the SM?
