1. Greg has many times said as that he just write, not really plan what is exactly going to happen. The only supposed ending was Mata Nui and Teridax fixing Spherus Magna. 2. For what his plan really was, I am not sure. 3. No he and Marendar and all the other threats has not been stopped, nor has the red star been repaired. The story is frozen where we left off. |

Wow...that really stinks. You're such a good writer! I have a feeling Bionicle won't be the same without your influence |
D.S.S.99 | 2015-02-17 19:47 UTC–5 PermalinkDear Greg Farshtey
Please make Bionicle epic. Please do not use this theme just as a money maker. I also have a request please make the story line better and more detail. Like we have the masters of the elements AKA Toa But Can you make a better title like it use to be the Toa Nuva now its just the masters of fire or stone. oh and I think it would be epic if reuse more charectors I would like to suggest Toa Likan, skakatia and the Dark Hunters. |

Greg is not part of the story team making decisions in the new Bionicle. He advises and gives feedback, no more, so he cannot change these things. |
Danielhll23 | 2015-02-17 20:44 UTC–5 PermalinkA few questions:
1) Why do many entities (Matoran, Turaga ect.) Need to wear masks?
2) If the toa Mata were created in case Mata nui ever fell asleep, that seems like a pretty random thing for the Great Beings to consider. Did they have some sort of clarvoyent powers or do they just have a special toa team in place for every possible situation?
3) Every Matoran on Metru Nui knew Lhikan, so it can be assumed that they knew about his team as well, since Nidhiki seemed to be a major toa there for a while too. Why then do none of the Toa Metru or Tehutti and friends recognize the name when Ahkmou called out four legged Nidhiki?
4) Is there any significant reason as to why there are genders for these beings aside from asthetic? Since they are built by machines, are there any difference between the genders, like different chemicals or something in them to warrent making them distinctly different? |
darthvega98 | 2015-02-17 21:13 UTC–5 PermalinkBleh. Frozen?
I have my own ideas as to what happened, on its own page now. |
benshores | 2015-02-17 22:17 UTC–5 PermalinkThank you for your great work on bionicle. It gave me pleasure in my childhood like you wouldn't know. Btw, if Greg has already answered these questions, could you other MB'ers tell me the answer? Thanks. |
ToaofTime4266 | 2015-02-18 00:25 UTC–5 PermalinkDoes the Great Beings race possess a metallic skeleton? |
TomGyroid | 2015-02-18 06:27 UTC–5 PermalinkHave some questions:
1. (Not that you had any control in the decision or anything but) Do you personally think a continuation would have been possible for BIONICLE if they had just glossed over the details and history and made it something only loosely related to past canon? 2. I assume you wouldn't want to canonize any of the non-canon combiner/alternate models either (such as the Kabaya ones)? 3. Is it common for Fikou to have black legs instead of ones corresponding to their colour? 4. Do you know anything about the Tunnel Stalker (a model I don't know the origin of) or unseen Rock Lion and Phantom contest models? 5. Is the 2004 "Ultimate Dume" Makuta Teridax form still canon as 2004's Teridax form or was that changed to the second movie's, making the model non-canon? |

1) No. Had I been asked, I would not have recommended picking up the old story. There was too much back story after nine years, it's been gone too long, and the target audience for the sets was 3-4 years old when it ended. 2) I have no plans to do so, no.
3) If they do in the models, then yes.
4) No. Too long ago to recall.
5) 2004 was 11 years ago, so I really don't recall. |

Why would they? |

1) I don't do designs, Ben. I am a writer, not a model designer. 2) I'm a LEGO employee. Even if I had complaints, I am not going to post them in a public forum about a product my company puts out, right? Plus, as I have said, my opinions don't matter -- yours do. |

1) Why do so many electronic devices need batteries? 2) They were building a huge, sophisticated machine. Huge, sophisticated machines can break down. This is like saying you had to be a clairvoyant to know autos would require mechanics at some point.
3) Because he looked nothing like the Nidhiki they knew. If you had a best friend named Sam, and one day a giant toad shows up called Sam, would you automatically assume that's your friend?
4) There are psychological differences between the genders. |

I have nothing at all to do with new BIONICLE, D.S. If you have issues with it, you need to post a topic in the LEGO Message Board BIONICLE forums. |

Actually, i do not advise at all. I had that role briefly last year, but I am not involved at all at this point. |
