Where on earth did you get the idea for Ninjago? Like, did you just wake up one morning and decide "Oh, I'm going to write a story about ninjas that can control elements!"

Hi Greg, I have a been a lifelong Bionicle nerd, and have some questions:

1. What is a good estimate of the top speed of the Kakama?

2. How much better is the Akaku's x-ray vision then the Ruru's?

3. Can any Matoran become Toa, or do they have to be preprogrammed for that?

4. Could Tamaru, because of his attributes, theoretically be a Bo-Matoran?

What's in for the next Ninjago season?

I've only read some Ninjago Grafic Novels and i got to ask, I know in one book a serpentine mentions Pythor's name but why don't you show him? He's my favorite Ninjago character.

Is Kapara actually a Ta Matoran?   After all, he can teleport in Mnog (Which, as far as I can tell, does not contradict canon.).  Also, any plans of another Hero Factory book?

Hmm.  I wish that LEGO would have not cancelled BIONICLE.   Then we would have gotten more details on the journey to the maze and a story with bio-mechanical dinosaurs!   Did you have any plans on what would happen once they got to Bota Magna at the end of 2010?

1) Hasn't been revealed,and there are no future plans for BIONICLE story at this point, due to the cancellation of the line.

2) I have no plans to do so at this point

 

3) I did not plan my stories ahead, I wrote them as I went, so what exactly happened to him I had not planned out yet. But he certainly was not eaten, LEGO would never allow something like that!

 

4) No way to know. If it came back, I have no idea who would be on the story team or what the company would want to do.

 

5) Right now, no one at LEGO Company is asking me to write BIONICLE - they want me to focus on current lines like Ninjago and Chima.

I thought that he said something about a language learning quest by Lewa.   Maybe he said both.

I have been seriously considering making a fanfiction of BIONICLE.  If I do, I would make it not contradict the story in any way.   My question is this:  should the story start with a tense scene and then backtrack?  Or should it start at the beginning?  Again, thanks so very much for your time.

Why did BIONICLE end?
