Well that is true, but they are something aren't they? And anyways I was just asking if they could have a name, I always felt Pohatu was kinda left out in that regard.

Hey Greg

1) How many dark hunters were there?

2) You have stated that there is no romance in the MU. Then what would you call the reletionship beetween hewkii and macku/Jaller and hali?

3) Could a mask of a certin shape have the power of another?

4) Was there a reason Mazeka was as big as an av-matoran or was this because that was just the matoran build for the year?

5) Are the matoran on metru-nui called metrutoran or metruan?

6) Is protodermis an element or a compound?

Although this is directed at Mr. Farshtey, I feel like I know enough to answer this one:

At first, these seemed to be intended as romance. However, as to not turn Bionicle into a soap opera, romance was decannonized. From then on, this simply became more like a strong bond between friends, almost like a close brother and sister.

Any other comments/elaborations/corrections appreciated.

Hey Greg, do you think the heartlights possessed by the Matoran and Toa could be linked to some sort of power plant in their bodies? (hence their behaviour-blinking/stuttering when the being is dying, bright when alive and healthy and dark when deceased)

Hello Greg, I'm doing a college paper on my ideal career, which is novelist. Part of the assignment is to interview someone in my desired field, and if you have no objections, I'd like to have your responses. The questions are:

A) If you were starting all over again, would you choose to enter this profession? Why or why not?

B) What about college most prepared you for this career?

C) What skills are most valuable to a person in this profession? How did you attain these skills?

D) What advice do you have for freshmen college students who are preparing for this profession?

Thank you very much for your consideration, and your contributions to BIONICLE. I await your reply.

1) Yes, because this is what I am good at. You have to go where your talents lead you.

2) Probably more encouragement from individual teachers than course work. I don't believe you can teach someone to write well. You either can or you can't.

3) I think one of the major skills you need for this is the ability to be alone. Writing is a solitary profession. You are going to spend a lot of time sitting in front of your computer, by yourself, working. If you are the kind of person who needs a ton of people around all the time and always wants to be out having fun, this is probably not the career for you.

4) Read a lot, especially writers who are better than you are. That is the best way to learn and it will aspire you to be better.

I never try to predict the outcome of fights. Too many variables. Having read stories where Spider-Man beat Firelord and Captain America beat the Hulk, you can't always assume the fight will go to the person who is more powerful.

Me again, and I think I have an easy one this time:

What kind of mask can you make using only "reconstitute at random" disks?

If you make a mask out of an RAR disk, it is going to be an RAR mask. The mask has the power of hte disk it is made from.

And what would it be called?

Probably a mask of Reconstitution or something like that.

Hey Greg:

 2) We know MU inhabitants as a whole are biomechanical. But do you think their biological tissue could be technorganic, meaning that it is composed of technological and biologoical components fused at the cellular level? It seems fitting given their abilities.

2) I tend to doubt this is the case.

But wouldn't a technorganic physiology make sense, given the attributes of the MU inhabitants? Among other things, their organics seem to regenerate faster, and it might partly explain the various innate abilities that come with each elemental power. Not to mention that their  their brains seem to possess attributes of organic brains such as a need for oxygen, but their conciousness is a domloadable AI.

Regardless, it would be a major change to the canon to suddenly alter the type of organic tissue we have been talking about for a decade, and it's not a change I feel is needed for story.
