No, it was announced yesterday that I am not writing the new books. |

I only saw the descriptions of the new Toa a few weeks ago. As for my opinions, they're just that -- my opinions -- and since I am a LEGO employee, this isn't really the place for me to get into my opinions on stuff. |

I guess you will have to decide that for yourself as time goes on. But the difference with 2009 and 2015 is that BIONICLE was very much a known thing in 2009 ... in 2015, most kids in the target age -- 8-11 -- don't know what BIONICLE is, so tying it into old story wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. |

You're probably better off checking the new BIONICLE board for this info. |
caleb9731 | 2014-10-10 10:08 UTC–5 PermalinkWhat's the difference between the Toa, Turaga, and Matoran? |

M0TR | 2014-10-10 12:34 UTC–5 PermalinkI know you're not involved in the 2015 story, so forgive me for asking this, but have you seen the character Ekimu's name written down anywhere? Is that how it's properly spelled? I've seen it everywhere, but I haven't found an official source for the spelling of the name.
Also, I think I remember you saying the Vahi was able to affect time mostly because the Matoran Universe had its own rules for how things worked 'inside.' The Bohrok-Kal incident proves the Vahi can still work outside the Makutabot, but if it was broken on Spherus Magna, would the same amount of bad juju go down? Or would it just make bad things happen in a small area? Or would nothing at all happen? |

Thank you, but no, so far as I know I will not be writing any of the books.
BTW, guys, apologies for being slow to answer some of your questions -- I am still under the weather and it is slowing me down. |

Mata Nui was always known to be a giant robot. That was in the original story bible written back in 2000. |

Okay, thanks. I don't think I knew that, and if I did, I forgot. |
sepublic22 | 2014-10-10 17:33 UTC–5 PermalinkIn Trail By Fire, Whenua and Nuju come across an enormous, Ussal-like rahi during their quest for one of the Great Kanoka. After they incapacitate it, Whenua mentions that no one has an idea what it is, and speculate it could be a blend of an Ussal and another rahi. Would it be safe to assume that they encountered a Manas? |

1) I believe Ekimu is how I have seen it spelled, but I can check the story bible next week and verify it for you.
2) Yes, it would still have an effect if broken on SM. |
Thecatlovinguy | 2014-10-10 19:03 UTC–5 PermalinkDo you have any spoilers for Bionicle 2015?
I really want some!

I think that was part of Faber's concept for the canisters being like medicine, and all that (least in part). |
