Those folks who remember me from BZP know that my answers tend to be straight and to the point, because i am trying to get through as many questions as I can in a sitting so people don't have to wait forever for answers. If I didn't want to be here, I wouldn't have agreed to be or be spending my weekend time doing this. The fact that I did and I am I think says more than a smiley face would.

1) Yes, and I do not write the overall storyline for the year for this line

2) Because, with my regular work and my daughter to take care of, I did not have time to do them right.

7) It didn't really. The only difference this year is it went from two product releases a year to one.  But the series is returning in 2014

No, it's not. It was discussed among fans on BZPower, but my feeling was LEGO Company would  not be okay with a Toa who sprayed acid at his enemies.

1) One of the important things is to treat your characters as real people, in a way. If you try to force them to do things in your story that they wouldn't normally do, then it  becomes hard to write, because they stop being predictable. And predicting what they do  next is part of your job as a writer.

I don't recall the story team leaning that way. I think the sets looked the way they did simply because that was what the set designer opted to do.

I did not create Ninjago or work on the TV series - I do the graphic novels, that is my role with it. So I can't answer this.
