Hello, Mr. Farshtey,

I recently had an interesting question that I thought you might have an answer for; How big is Spherus Magna?

Mata Nui, a 40,000,000 (12192 kilometers) foot tall robot housing the Matoran universe is smaller than Aqua Magna.
Aqua Magna is just a small part of Spherus Magna, and Mata Nui is able to stand up on the planet while still in it's atmosphere. Spherus Magna broke into three entire planets, Bara Magna still being gigantic, a planet of that size should be somewhere close to the size of the sun, right? Is this normal for planets in the BIONICLE universe? Or is it just that it was so large that the Great Beings chose that to build upon?

So was this overlooked that Mata Nui could fit on Aqua Magna? Or is all of Spherus Magna really that big?

Thank you for reading!

I don't have specific info on this. It's not something we bothered to calculate  back when.

Hello, Greg. I have some more questions for you, hope they aren't too technical.

1. Why don't Toa teams always combine thier powers to create a Toa seal? Is it more exhausting or do not many know about it?

2. It has been shown that Great Beings can appear invisible to their creations, but do they have other powers that don't involves their creations? Like the ability to shoot lasers or anything like that?

3. Do you know if Vakama and the others were planned to be Toa from the beginning or was that created as we got closer to 2004?

4. Do the Inika masks look like their inorganic counterparts or did their organic qualities make them look considerably different?

5. When the Ignika created a body for Mata Nui on Bara Magna, was it closer anatomy-wise to a Toa or a Glatorian?

6. Would the Vahki Hunters be a good tool to use against the Baterra since they eat machinery or would Baterra perceive them as threats?

1) It's not always necessary or practical to do.

2) GBs use tech. They don't have powers.

3) Yes, that was part of the original plan.

4) They look considerably different

5) To a Toa, because the Ignika had not encountered Glatorian yet

6) Anything armed will be perceived by a Baterra as a threat.

4) Well, I 'm actually going to have the Toa take a direct hit from a frag grenade--you think he could take that kind of punishment?

If you can't answer all my questions at once, just do them a few at a time.

1) When Bota and Aqua magna returned to Bara Magna, were beings crushed between them?

2) If someone dies while using the Iden, will they respawn without a spirit, respawn with a copy of their spirit, or have their spirit transported to the RS?

3) If the Great Beings thought the Toa could turn bad and were powerful enough to install a safegaurd, why didn't they install a safegaurd for the Makuta, who were much more powerful and had less programmed goodwill and compassion?

4) After Lehvak-Kal's vaccum powers blasted him into space, did he burn up, float away from Solis Magna, or land on Spherus Magna?

Thanks for doing this, and thanks for the awesomeness of Bionicle!

1) No

2) If we equate spirit with their consciousness, then if they die with their consciousness missing from their body, there is nothing for the RS to download into another body. They couldn't be revived.

3) I always saw the Toa as the safeguard against the Makuta.

4) He went  into orbit.

I always thought the Avohkii and Av-Matoran were the safeguard.

3) Basically, I'm just wondering if their pistons acutally do anything. I mean, it makes sense for them to work with the muscles in giving power for movemnet, right?

Hello,Greg. Here are a few questions for you. Hopefully you will answer them.

1) Do the GB posess the level of technology required for interstellar travel? If yes, did they visit any other planets and "create" life on them ?
2) Can one reach our universe (or the Marvel/DC/Image/... Uni/Multiverse for that matter) utilizing the Kanohi Olmak ?
3) Do the GB posess the technology required for such an achievement ?
4) We know that Keetongu heals from any poison. Do the GB have technology to synthesize a similar effect using an apparatus? If yes, can it be utilized on a Toa ?
5) Can any inhabitant of SM (excluding the GB) be affected by the Visorak poison? I mean, can theGlatorian/Agori/... be mutated by the Visorak ?
6) If an inhabitant of the Matoran universe affected by Visorak poison dies, will he/she/it be cured on the Red Star? If not, why?

So, if they knew Velika was missing, why didn't they do anything about it?

Another question.

Can Lehvak-Kal ever get back to land? What does he even do up there?

Final Questions:

1) Are the Brain and Lungs the only "vital" organs in an MU inhabitant?

2) I may have asked you this question before, so I'm sorry if this is annoying you: I remember you saying that MU inhabitants don't have a circulatory system, but I always imagined them as having hydraulics. Does that seem feasible to you?

Hey Greg, I have a few questions if you could answer them:

1. Was it originally planned to turn any of the Shadow Matoran from Karda Nui into Toa, and if so which one?

2. If Bo-Matoran prefer to live in Jungle type areas, away from civilization, does that make them any more primal than a normal Matoran.

3. To what extent can beings with the Element of Plasma survive heat? To the point of standing in fire, or swimming in lava?

4. In sands of Bara Magna, Berix said he was trying to collect parts to possibly become a Glatorian one day. Does that mean that it is possible for an Agori to become a Glatorian?

5. How strong would you say the elemental abilities of a Turaga Nui be?

There's been a long discussion on BZPower debating who Velika's agents on Bara Magna were. At present, the top three suspects are Vastus, Atakus and Metus, in that order. Can you confirm if any of these beings were indeed Velika's agents?

Hello, Mr Farshtey. I have a few rather specific question back from the early days. Back in MNOG, Kapura, a Ta-Matoran, gained the ability to travel great distances very quickly by moving very slowly and focusing on where he wanted to go. This is an ability that I don't recall being demonstrated by any other being in the MU (Kakama users being exempt as well, due to their Kanohi). My questions are these:

1) Is this a truly unique ability? If not, then why has no other user been shown with this ability?

2) How is Kapura able to use said ability? At the time, Kapura wore a Matoran Pakari (a mask that would not enable such a feat, even if he were able to fully tap into it).

And 3) Does this hint at something? While we've seen beings who could teleport or move at incredible speeds, we've never seen one of this size.

Apologies if you've answered these questions already. I could not find any information hinting at where the ability comes from and why this character in particular would be granted it.

I have no info on this. The people who wrote the original story bible, where this was first mentioned, never explained anything about it, so I have  no idea what their intent was. That's why I largely stayed away from it in story.

What do you suggest? They had no means to retrieve the MU robot and couldn't even be sure that is where he was. Once an initial search did not turn up anything, there was not much they could do about it.

1) Not much to do. The only way he could get back down is if his orbit degrades, in which he will burn up on re-entry.
