Can you answer my question please. |
goldeaglefire | 2014-08-22 20:32 UTC–5 PermalinkOK...I have a really long question that will boggle your brain for a bit, and it's a hypothetical sinario, so be prepared for insanity.
So, OK, there's the Mask of Fusion, right? So, what happens when you make a Mask of Fusion NUVA(Hypothetically)? If I recall, Nuva masks are more powerful in their abilities AND can allow people to share the ablities of the mask. So, say, instead of just fusing with one person with the Mask of Fusion Nuva (I'll call it the MoFN for short), you can fuse with two. Now then, the BIONICLE series has shown examples of six people sharing the power of a Kanohi Nuva, albeit standing close to each other. So, get three teams of toa, have 6 Toa (One wearing the MoFN) stand in a circle, and then...BAM! Suddenly, all the Toa are fused. It makes sense. If each Toa in range of the MoFN fuses with two toa AND they use the power to fuse with themselves, they can make some sort of giant Toa combo. And you also have the KANOHI, which are now all fused together, and still have the powers fo the MoFN! So, you could, hypothetically, do the same thing with three MORE teams of Toa (albeit the giant Toa combo has to be in the center of the 6-toa circle)! And so on and so forth. And combine that with the Toa that are wearing a NORMAL Mask of Fusion, and the fusing becomes even more powerful! So, here's my question: if a Mask of Fusion Nuva existed, hypothetically, do you think all the Toa could fuse into one being? |
herbapenguin | 2014-08-22 20:57 UTC–5 PermalinkI heard on bzpower that you wrote the screen treatment to Bionicle 5. I also heard it is about biomechanical dinosaurs. If it does come back (you don't need to confirm it) would LEGO release the fifth movie? |

Whoa!
All right, this opens up a lot of speculation. Who could be an informant?
1) Here's my hypothesis - what if the Baterra are informants? After all, Velika probably helped to make them - he knows how to access them and reprogram them. What if there are a few Baterra stalking around Bara Magna, keeping an eye on things and reporting to Velika? Of course, we didn't see them in the story... but then, no one ever sees Baterra until it's too late. |
NatoGreavesy | 2014-08-23 01:21 UTC–5 PermalinkReading through some of these questions, and then I hit the bit about Velika having informants, and some of them being characters we met back in 2009. WHAT? Four years on, and you only drop this bombshell on us now? WHY? Who are the informants? You can't drop this on us and then not tell us who it is!!!
Please Greg, share your knowledge with us! |

one of the main points that people who are trying to found out about Bionicle 2015 have noticed was on LEGO.com itself. |

Also, you wrote: >8) What island? The island of Mata Nui is the robot's face, why would Makuta want to destroy it? Same as your second question - the kraata have no reason to destroy the MU. Makuta wanted to rule the MU, not destroy it. 8.1. Can Makuta using any of his abilities destroy an island (any island) like Nocturn? 8.2. Okay, not destroy MU, rule it. With these powers Kraata/Rahkshi actually can achieve anything Makuta wants and it's doubtful that anyone could stop them, even OMN.
>5) I don't understand your question 5.1. I mean the planets from the beginning of The Legend Reborn. Are they canon?

ToaIhu | 2014-08-23 08:29 UTC–5 PermalinkHi Greg,
My question's a bit weird, and please don't take this the wrong way, as I'm just curious.
If you still have the time/LEGO gives you the authority to post canon tidbits about BIONICLE on these message boards, why were the story serials never finished? I only ask because it seems a bit strange that over the course of four years, the actual story serials died, and I understand that you have other writing commitments at LEGO, but this thread has reached 437 pages. Obviously that is by no means all you, as there are thousands of posts by fans like me, too, but you're always able to give detailed and informative answers (which we're all grateful for) to pretty much ever fan question.
So I think my real question is actually, if you were to stop posting in this forum, even for a brief while, would that give you the time to finish the unfinished story serials? Or, now that BIONICLE has been discontinued, does LEGO simply not want you to produce new content?
Many thanks, and I eagerly await your answer,
-Ihu |
Paploo2 | 2014-08-23 10:25 UTC–5 PermalinkIs the informant Atakus! He would be in a great position to give Velika info. And his blades are not from Bara Magna but "Alien technology." Perhaps he got them from Velika! Thanks! |

But I thought that only comic book physics apply in BIONICLE. |

Boidoh | 2014-08-23 11:18 UTC–5 PermalinkHello Greg, I was just reading through the BIONICLE books, I think it was Power Play. Let me check the page...
Page 67. Where it says that there was a room that looks like it was used recently. It said that two mechanisms were in the center of the room, appearantly designed to teach someone how to ride a wild animal. Appearantly, there were carvings Kongu found that showed a Tahtorak.
This immediately made me think back to the 2006 Vezok commercial. In that 10 second commercial, Vezok rode a machine bull looking brown rahi, that wore a brown Kanohi Hau, and sizzled steam from the sides of its face. It had a tail, and as Vezok rode it, it began to break apart, with the commercial ending with Vezok kicking the brown Hau.
What Rahi was that, and was it the same mechanism that was in the Piraka Stronghold? It can't be a Tahtorak, because it was brown, and bull looking. I thought it could be designed after an Ash Bear. What do you think? |
Boidoh | 2014-08-23 11:19 UTC–5 PermalinkAlso in the concept art for the Piraka Stronghold, on the lower-right, is shows something called a "Rodeo Pit". |
Boidoh | 2014-08-23 12:39 UTC–5 PermalinkWhat is the official pronounciation of Piraka?
I believe that the guides had PIE-rock-ah, but the ads, rap, and pretty much almost everyone says PIH-rock-ah. Which is it? |
