I think this got buried

(Sorry if I'm annoying you--I just realized you anwered my previous question; I just didn't see your reply)

Hey Greg:

1) Do MU inhabitants need to drink water/liquid protodermis or some other kind of fluid to stay alive? Or do they only need to "eat" energy to live?

2) When it says Ba-matoran have an innate resistance to extreme pressures, does that mean they have higher physical durability compared to other types of matoran, allowing them to withstand greater force?  Or does it simply mean they are less bothered by physical pressure?

3) Aside from muscles and lungs, do you think MU inhabitants would have an organic nervous system (excluding the brain), such as a spinal cord and motor nerves connecting to the muscles?

Hey Greg:

1) Are Glatorians taught how to fight during their childhood, kind of like the ancient Spartans or the Samurai?

Also: when the Toa Mata washed ashore on the island of Mata Nui, their organic components had rotted away due to the thousands of years spent in stasis. However, their organics quickly grew back after they reactivated. I have two questions about this organic regeneration:

2) Does this organic healing factor also work for injuries in battle; such as when Zaktan shredded Tahu's organic components with his protodites?

1. What happens to the Dimensions of Makuta's Mass when a Makuta dies? Is their extra mass still there? Do the dimensions still exist?

2. In the World of Annona's doom, has Annona died out yet, or is she still surviving?

3. In Dark Destiny, page 51, Gali sees dimensions where Time and Space are meaningless, What else did she see? What would be some characteristics of those dimension with meaningless time and space?

Hello Mr Farshtey.

You just confirmed Aqua Magna and Bota Magna are planets of their own, and do not orbit around Bara Magna. That seems rather odd since almost every media in 2009 and 2010 says they are moons.

For example, in Journey's End, it is stated: "Mata Nui raised his eyes to space.Bara Magna and its two moons, Aqua Magna and Bota Magna, had once all been part of one planet, Spherus Magna. Recreating that world meant bringing all three planets together again and fusing them together. "

Is there a reason why they would be known as moons of Bara Magna if they're not? Is it something like Venus being known as the Morning Star?

Also, how would the whole Bara Magna, Bota Magna and Aqua Magna have the shape of the three virtues symbol work if they aren't moons ?

I must admit I'm quite confused by this new information, so thank you by advance for your answers.

Greg, for anyone that says that "how could the planets form the shapes of tTV". Here is an idea.

Obviously if they were moons they would rotate around the planet, and then they would only be in the shape of tTV about once every so often. If they were in a fixed orbit around Solis Magna, travelling the same speed around the sun as the other two planets, they would always be fixated in that shape. Otherwise, the moons would be in generic spots around Bara Magna, if they were moons, which they are not.

They are also called planets. Wink

(In regards to the moon issue, for what it's worth, there's a shot in TLR where Aqua Magna is shown moving in an orbit around Bara Magna.)

Hi again! Sorry for posting multiple times, but do you think the Agori Lewa met on Bota Magna are part of the same Jungle Tribe as the one that existed on Bara Magna (i.e. they rallied under the Element Lord of Jungle; obviously now the two groups are quite different) or would you consider them to be separate? Thank you!

This one got buried,I suppose:
Hello,Greg. Here are a few questions I have for you. Hopefully you will answer them all.
1) Are there any other tribes on SM ? If yes, then which ones ? It's still hard for me to imagine a tribe of psyonics, but a tribe of air,for example, would be completely logical.
2) Are the animals on SM organic or semi-organic ? Are there any sea-creatures on SM ? If yes,are the ancient Rahi based on them,'cause the latter where created by the GB,and not by the Makuta.
3)Are the Dinosaurs from the proposed idea of a fifth Bio movie canon ?
4)Are there any other elements in the Matoran Universe that the Toa can control ?
5)Do the GB posses the level of technology required for interstellar travel ? If yes,did they visit any other planets and "created" life on them ?
6)Can our universe (or the Marvel/DC/Image/... Uni/Multiverse for that matter) be reached utilizing the Kanohi Olmak ?
7)Do the GB posses the technology required for such a achievement ?
8)Can the Vortixx utilize Kanohi ?
9) We know that Keetongu heals from any poison. Do the GB have technology to synthesize a similar effect using a apparatus ? If yes,can it be utilized on a Toa ?
10)Can any inhabitant of the SM (excluding the GB) be affected by the Visorak poison ? By that I mean, can be Glatorian/Agori/... be mutated by the Visorak ?
11)If a inhabitant of the Matoran universe affected by Visorak poison dies, will he/she/it be cured on the Red Star? If not,why ?

Another question:

Vakama once threatened Teridax, telling him that he would shatter the Vahi and unleash the power of time upon the universe.  What would happen if somebody shattered:

1. the Ignika?

2. the Avohkii/Kraahkan?

3. the Mask of Creation?

4. an Olmak?

I believe we did things in story about what would happen if the Ignika fell apart. As for the rest, I don't think we ever stated that every single mask would cause a problem if it was broken. Most masks would just be useless if they were broken and would not unleash their power.

Of course not.  It isn't like a broken Hau would form a shield around the Matoran Universe!  I was just interested to see if there were a few other special cases like the Vahi, mostly legendary masks or one-of-a-kind masks.  I put in the Olmak because I was intrigued about the possiblities, even it if did not have any effect.

I am afraid that I think this got lost.

Not lost - there's no question there. As I said, other masks do not have the same effect when broken.

Oh.  Not even other legendary ones, like the Mask of Creation?

And if that was the case, how would Vakama know that the Vahi would unleash its power when broken?  It doesn't need to be said that it hadn't been broken already...

Hey Greg, I hope you don't mind if I ask some specifics about the capabilities of a Toa. I'm doing this so we can get an accurate sense of their traits and capabilities.

6) Do martial arts exist in the MU, and if so, is it possible that some Toa are martial artists?

I wanted to know this too.

Quote from Brothers in Arms:

'"I want to learn how to fight," said Mazeka, his tone grim.  "I want to know how to win clean ... and win dirty.  When I'm done, I want to be a master with a blade, with my fists, with any kind of weapon - and then I want you to get out of my way."'

So perhaps not martial arts, but special fighting techniques?  Definitely.

I got to wondering about this while reading some stuff on BS01. Most, if not all, tribes on Bara Magna seem to have Glatorian. Is this true of the Iron tribe as well? Were there Glatorian of Iron, and if so, did any of them survive Annona's dreaming plague?

Hello Greg.
The recent moon stuff has caused immense backlash in the community. They have said that many canon sources such as the Mata Nui Saga, Journey's End and BIONICLEstory.com described them as moons. Could it be simply poetic license, like how Venus is called the Morning Star?
