1 - What happened in 2006 with the Miramax company that stopped producing Bionicle movies for LEGO?

2 - As far as I know, 'The Legend Reborn was going to be a trillogy, or something like that. Then, what maked you guys to leave it in just one movie?

Just two follow-up questions.

  1. You previously stated that when Teridax’s Rahkshi invaded Odina, “nothing happened to” Mimic’s companion. This means she remained imprisoned in the dungeon, correct?
  2. With the death of Teridax, has she escaped, or will she have to survive until Toa or other rescuers find her?

1) Yes

2) My assumption is the dungeon was sufficiently damaged that she could have escaped. However, we do  not know her current mental state or if she would run toward rescuers or away from them.

Hi Greg.

Did you know that this year is the 10th anniversary of the second Bionicle movie?

Yes. It's also the 10th anniversary of the best-selling BIONICLE book that I wrote.

Which book is thatThinking?

Hey Greg what do you like doing better, making Bionicle comics or Ninjago comics???

It's sort of apples and oranges. The BIONICLE comics were aimed at an older audience, but were much shorter and there were a lot more sets I had to fit in. With Ninjago, the stories are longer, so they take longer to do, but I am not under much pressure to put sets in.

When Mata Nui explored other planets, might those planets have been in nearby solar systems? (Then again, I doubt Mata Nui was capable of hyperspace travel.)

Not to  my knowledge

1) Nothing happened with Miramax. LEGO chose to stop making movies for the time being because #3 did not sell as well as #2, which did not sell as well as #1.

2) It was, yes. But when the decision was made in 2008 to cancel the line, the second two movies were cancelled as well. There would have been no point in doing movies in 2010 and 2011 for a line that was no longer active.

I was not working at LEGO Company when BIONICLE was created, but my  understanding is there was no one person who created it. It was created by an international team of people at the company.
