I forgot to ask you this:
In what year did you decided to stop calling Teridax by the name of 'Makuta' an put him his current name?

Probably '06 or '07

I think they are lost

Hi Greg, I recently got back into Bionicle after rediscovering my old sets.

Anyways, being the story nut I am, I have a few questions

1.) I remember somewhere stating that beings of antidermis cannot be revived on the Red Star, but seing how Makuta Icarax was turned into a regular biomechanical being by the Ignika, does that mean he has been revived?

2.) Do individual Great Beings have tremendous power, or do they simply make powerful things?

3.) Is it possible for a Turaga to become a Toa again?

4.) I know you've said that you have no real plans for contiuning the serials, but would Malum and his Vorox pack become important in the whole Kabrua thing?

And lastly, thanks for doing this for the past few months!

1) No, because his body was destroyed, there was nothing for the red star to work off of

2) To our knowledge, they do not have natural powers

3) No

4) No idea

Poor Sentrakh! His life is a paradox.
Now that I am here, I'd like to ask: how would you describe an undead being (his feelings, his ways to think, etc)? Is it like a zombi, or a litte more than that?

3) Karzahni had other powers that we don't know?

4) How Kanohi clould be forged before Kanoha are created, 4 000 years ago?

5) Can you reveal us the fate of Krakua in relation with the Vakama's Vision, and the entire plot about that?

6) When the mask of Creation create a object, it needs raw materials or it can directly create matter from nothing?

If it needs raw materials, they must be near or the mask can take matter anywhere inside the MU, by teleportation for example?

7) Agori, Glatorian, Skrall, ect, reproduce as us?

8) Mareover, how Skrall could reproduce, with the banishment of Sisters of the Skrall ?

I repost all this because i forgot a lastest question :
9) In some promotionnal pictures of Brutaka, we can see that he has a second pair of arms who can be spread. It is similar in the story, or this pieces are just his shoulder blades ?

They were never described to me by the designers as being extra arms.

Okay, thanks.
But I reposted all of these questions because you haven't answered to the other eight questions at the top of this quote.

Alright, one more crop of questions and then I'm done for the time being.

  1. How exactly was the Charger transformed from a Kane-Ra into a Dark Hunter? Or will that stand as one of the great mysteries of our time? Joking
  2. The Dark Hunter Mimic is motivated by his desire to find his long-lost companion, whom the Shadowed One had imprisoned underneath Odina. After Odina was seized by Rahkshi, what was the fate of the companion?
  3. Additionally, is/was Mimic's companion of the same species as him?
  4. The Dark Hunter Subterranean was sent in '06 to discuss an alliance between the Dark Hunters and some Frostelus. What was the result of these negotiations?
  5. Did Tyrant survive his encounter with the Toa during the Toa/DH War on Metru Nui?

Well, in Sentrakh's case, he has pretty severe amnesia and is motivated mainly by loyalty to TSO. I do not see him as being mindless like a zombie, but due to his mental condition, he is not a whole being by any means.

1) I don't recall if we ever detailed what he looked like, but my guess would be the mask was probably useless once he had absorbed its powers and he discarded it.

2) Natural

3) Not that I am aware of

4) Kanoka are used to  make masks in Metru Nui. There is no evidence that is  universally how they are made in other parts of the MU.

5) No. I don't plan my stories ahead of time, I write as it comes to me.

6) No, it does not need raw materials

7) Yes

8) I would assume that, like some creatures in nature, the males and females reunite at a certain point in the year and then split apart again

Dear Mr. Farshtey

1) Seeing as the MU inhabitants have been confirmed as AI "nanotech," is it by extent confirmed that Toa and Matoran have inorganic brains (or processors)?

2) Can a toa of plasma control temperatures (e.g absorbing heat, raising the temperature within an area without actually projecting one's element), or is that ability exclusive to toa of fire?

3) Is it reasonable to assume that there were Agori/Glatorian "children" around during the 2009-2010 storyline, and that they just weren't shown because of story resaons?

4) How does Baterra shapeshifting work? Are they liquid metal like the T-1000 from Terminator, or do they shapeshift through mechanical means like Transformers?

5) Is this a reasonable analogy: a Kanohi mask is to a Toa as an app is to a smart phone

6) Does the heartlight serve any purpose other than indicating if an MU inhabitant is functional?

7) I believe you mentioned that the closest thing to blood that MU inhabitants might possess is some form of lubricant. Could MU inhabitants also have hydraulic fluid in their bodies as well?

Pretty much "no". No toy store (or any store) sells Bionicles, as the theme has been considered technically dead for four years. You can buy them online, but finding them in a store would basically be a miracle. That said, however, I got the set 8698 Vultraz for my birthday- the year was 2010. Apparently my uncle had found the set in Toys R Us on a shelf- a set that (unbeknownst to him) hadn't been sold in over a year. So no store SHOULD be selling Bionicle, but you just never know what you'll find sometimes.

Seriously? I'm glad to hear that Bionicle is still selling- even if the theme's been gone for awhile! That's very interesting to hear,

I'd consider him famous. After all he's basically been co-runner of the story lines behind three major LEGO themes: Bionicle, Hero Factory, and Ninjago, all very successful and popular. Not to mention he also wrote the only Galidor comic (a failed theme meant to be competition for Bionicle), Exo-Force books (a VERY popular LEGO line), Knight's Kingdom books, the old LEGO Mania and now LEGO Magazine. AND he's written his own books, too.

Hey, Greg!

So...... I was playing MNOG (which is mostly cannon),  and when you go to enter Ko-Koro, you have to pass a viewscreen, which appears to be a security camera system (even though Mata Nui technology was primative). Did Ko-Koro actually have some sort of security viewscreen technology, or is this again not cannon?

I see. Alright, moar questions!

1.) Do the Kestora have any special powers? If so, what powers do they have?

2.) By the time the story came to a halt, were there still a lot of beings that hadn't evacuated the MU yet?

3.) Is the Red Star partially organic?

4.) How (and why) did the Red Star turn Jaller and co. into the Inika?

5.) Did Gaardus really break the return function of the Red Star?

Once again, thank you for answering our questions!

1) No, we have never stated if their brains are inorganic or not

2) No, we don't give plasma that power

3) Yes

4) Closer to the former

5) Except a smartphone will still work even if you haven't downloaded any apps, whereas a Toa with no Kanohi is substantially weakened

6) Not that I am aware of

7) No idea, not something I have considered
