A few things

  1. Could you put your signature here so it would be like you signed my book(I'm a person who loves books)
  2. I'm partial to Bionicle but it was Azg1234 who got me into it,but I have an idea if it comes back: if it does come back they could have fans send in Toa or villain designs for them to make
  3. I suggest you head to bionicle roleplay and try it out if you have time(just a suggestion Smile )
  4. My roleplay character's name is Toa Tikoro(so if you send me a signature please make it out to Toa Tikoro)
  5. Your just a awesome person in general!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your fan Toa Tikoro. Have a great day! Smile

For weapons like the Valious and the Vengious in Chima, are the cores made of chi, or a chi absorbing material?

Greg, if someone made a toy brand called Chim and it had vast similairities with Chima would you consider it a copying?

I was going to see what Greg thought about it because a identical situation in the BRP.  But since you think so please go to the Bionicle Roleplay Biosenate topic.

Vortixx, if you have a problem with us, take it to the mods, not Greg.

Vortixx, if there was a product situation like you described it would be a matter for the LEGO Legal Dept. My opinion is irrelevant,  only theirs would matter.

1) No  idea how I would even do that.

3) I have no time, sorry.

Greg you say you just make up stuff as you go. I do that too but don't ever think of future things that you want to lead to? I do it all the time I often tend to think of storylines like 2 years ahead of the one i'm working on.

Nope, because it  is impossible to predict when I am writing if I will even still be writing that story two years down the line. If set sales go down, a line could get cancelled and then there are no more books. So I just take things as they come.

I know someone probably already asked this, but there are 230 pages that I would prefer not to look through so I'll just go ahead and ask.

1. Are you going to continue any of the BionicleStory.com serials?

2. If so, are there any new elements you will be introducing? (Possibly even Void*nudgenudge winkwink*)

3. How much are you involved in Hero Factory?

1) I have no plans to do so at this point. BIONICLEstory.com no longer exists, no one at LEGO is asking me to do this, and I really don't have the spare time.

3) I wrote five novels for Scholastic for Hero Factory. Beyond that, I am not involved at all. I am not on the HF story team or involved in writing the specials.

I read in your interview that you write Ninjago graphic novels. Are any of them available to buy?

They all are. #8 just came out a couple weeks ago. They are published by Papercutz and they are in the children's section of major bookstores.

Hi, Mr. Farshtey,

I just thought I'd say I've always loved your Bionicle books, especially the ones set on Voya Nui with the Piraka Skakdi and Toa Inika. I sadly haven't been able to find any of your other works at libraries or bookstores so far, but I'm sure I'd like them. But to stay along the lines of LEGO and Bionicles... Ive been wondering about the final podcast for the Bionicle legacy. The last official one ever made ended with Gelu, Orde, and the others being hunted by Kabrua the Vorox, and discovering Velika the Matoran was really a Great Being. Did they ever escape and catch ''Velika''? Also, what about Nuparu, Hahli, and Jaller? The last time we see them is when their minds are enslaved by the Skakdi and the gold-skinned being. Did Kongu and Hewkii find them with the help of the Hagah, or were the final chapters to the Bionicle legend never written? If you have the time, please respond. I'm a huge fan!

No further chapters were written. After my daughter was born, I had a lot less time to write and needed to spend it on stuff I had been contracted for. Stuff I was just doing for fun became a luxury.

Why?

Short answer is because I write LEGO fiction for a variety of publishers -- as long as it known  up front that I do not read fan fiction, there is no chance someone is going to sue saying I stole their idea for something I wrote.
