Wasn't Zaktan made the way he is (made up of protodites) by the Shadowed One? When the Shadowed One tried to destroy Zaktan for revolting against the Dark Hunters... I think that was in Legends #4.
Yes, that was the first time we saw a manifestation of that power. But whether it was directly or indirectly caused by TSO's powers has never been revealed. It might have been TSO's power mingled with some mutation latent in Zaktan that caused it.

That makes sense... there really was no reason for TSO's powers to malfunction that way. I guess it'll just have to be a mystery!

I have been told we will be doing two more for the first half of 2014. The books are still selling very well, but I don't know if we will be doing more past #10. I don't think that decision has been made yet.

1) I am not revealing that
2) Not that I know of, but ... the fact that I don't know about it doesn't necessarily mean anything. I work in the US office, primarily on the Club magazines, and any decisions about the future of BIONICLE would be made at HQ in Billund. There's no real reason I would be brought in on any discussions like that, so i wouldn't know anything until a decision got made.
