They pretty much develop themselves, SG. I will usually start off with a first scene in mind, pretty clear in my head ... and as I write the characters, and they start talking, I get to know them and can build on who they are. I never write personality profiles beforehand ... I just write and let them go. |

Well, the model was designed by the LEGO designers, the character was created by the Ninjago story team, and the serpent was, I believe, tainted by the Overlord which is why it became corrupt. |

That is one reason, yes. If you give some other companies six months ahead of time to see your sets, they will rush knock-offs onto the market before your sets come out. |

Simple. The book was coming out in early 2013, which is too early to show what nindroids look like. So they could not be in the book. |
